Sir Macfarlane Burnett - Immunology, Nobel gong
Sir Howard Florey - Discovered the use of, and developed penicillin - Nobel gong
Mr. John Curtin - World War II prime minister
Sir Lawrence Bragg - co developed X-ray crystallography with his father and was later head of the Cambridge physics laboratories when the structure of DNA was worked out using X-ray crystallography. Nobel gong in 1914 and still the youngest ever to have got one.
Greatest sportsman is without any doubt Sir Donald Bradman whose scores were something like 40% higher than all ball game players in the world ever.
