One bullet away all the time. You just put that in the back of your mind and do your job, day in and day out, but always remind yourself that if you get sloppy or forgetful, that bullet will make it's call.

Oh lighten up Murrietta! Some veterans don't mind answering this. I was struck by a jeep when fleeing from a sniper. I was out in the open exposed to hostile fire. I couldn't move because of a broken leg. I think I was close to seeing the pearly gates, but some AF Airmen pulled me to safety.
