Marriage certificate issued by the Marriage Registrar is the most important document for getting his name added in your passport as well for getting visa for your traveling to Abudabi. The only alternative which is applicable in such case can be a joint Affidavit with regard to your marriage (date, place & form) along with joint photograph of both of you duly attested by Magistrate or Notary public. Now how far this will help you to get a visa I can't say but this along with photocopy of your husband's passport will definitely get his name added in your passport.

u have created this problem for yourself by not writing in your passport application form that u are married and given details of your husband. Now even if u get a marriage certificate from the registrar of marriages and apply for correction in ur passport u are still in trouble. because the date of your marriage would obviously be before the date u applied for your passport. It is illegal/a crime to hide such facts when u apply for the passport. i really dont know what u can do now, except to withdraw the passport application form and applying fresh with correct information.

According to my knowledge your Husband name must be there at the last page of your passport 'Spouse Name'

Marriage Certificate is the most important thing as well, this is the proof of your marriage.
