Girl, we've all been there unfortunately! I was with a guy who did the same thing (told me he loved me all the time, then broke up with me. I wondered, "so how strong was that supposed love?") But after a lot of thought I've realized that guys will say just about anything to show they care, without realizing it's not quite true. Lot's of teens (guys and girls, let's not just rail on them here!) don't really know what love is yet, so we might say we love someone honestly thinking we do, but not. Love is easy to get confused with extreme attraction.
You never asked whether or not you should get back together with this guy, so I'll leave that up to you. I just don't think you should hold what he said against him.

Guys are strange! It isnt even about the teenage years, they are just as unpredictable as adults! Iam 32 and my boyfriend is 39, and we still have our days where Iam crying myself to sleep because he doesnt know what he wants in life. So sometimes as hard as it is, we have to be strong and know it isnt us. They are scared of being attached, thats all men. They want the security of having you but at same time they want the freedom of feeling like they are not attached. You will have so many experiences in life, and each will hurt, but know tht whatever is worth having is worth waiting for. And many times when they see you happy without them, then they wanna be with you even more. Its the whole love urself before you can be loved. Cheer up, and know its normal, youll look back one day and realize it was all a part of life.

Because the entire young generation of airheads now says "I love you" without any meaning, or thought at all.
It's become the jargon of the day for shallow simpleton young dumbsters.
Kids are really better off waiting until they're a little older to start dating today.

Did you ask him? What did he say? I'm not sure what he did to break your heart.
He's apparently interested in you for himself. He'll ditch you again the moment that he feels that you won't fulfil his selfish interests. You learned about a player. It's quite simple. Just be happy for the knowledge and be happy that there are other guys out there too who will like you for YOU.

If it were me I would tell him to K.M.A. I don't do second chances and I don't want sombody's reject. You had your chance and walked away, Now keep walking. If you let him back in he will just take off when the next bit of fluff comes along because he know's you will take him back. NO FOOL LIKE A OLD FOOL. First time shame on him second time, shame on you. NO 2ND. CHANCE.

Thats the way guys are. They just have fun with girls and tell them they love them because girls like when guys say that and then hes finished with you and goes to another girl Leave him he doesnt care. There are many men who would love you for who you are. Just wait for the right guy!
Good Luck!!
