It's worms, nothing serious, all you need is give her one allwormer tablet (Drontal or equivalent) or being a puppy probably half a tablet (according to weight). You can find them in pet shops. If you have problems giving it to her you can crash it, turn it into powder and add to canned food. Don't postpone it though. Animals over 6 weeks and up to six months old should be wormed fortnightly.

My goodness a lot of scary answers..
Well by your ID the most likely cluprit is TAPEWORMS, She needs to be treated.. the over the counter meds for this worm are generally not good so go to the vet and get some good medicine.. Good idea to have a fresh stool sample cheked at the same time, or ask the vet for a broad spctrum wormer,, in case she has any other types of worms..
As far as the appetite,, with worms she would be hungry they compete for the food, and also feed off the dog so their feed requirements are MUCH higher if infected..
Tape worms are spread with fleas, or eating rodents,, make sure she is flea free,, or you will not get rid of the worms.. for very long..
Scratching the butt could be from the worms, or anal gland or flea issues,, Good idea to Get a appt with a vet, get a current weight, exam, have her checked over in general get her wormed.. and all should be well..not specifically a emergency.. anytime this week should be ok,, but sooner the better..

Take it the vet as soon as you can! You need to have it checked for other worms. The vet will give your puppy a medicine that will get rid of the worms but beware when she starts to pass them they will look like a lot of spaghetti coming out and this process takes about a day or so. But it is so worth it when you have a healthy puppy. Ask your vet about whether or not they are contagious and good luck!

It sounds like tapeworms. You need to get some Droncit from a vet.Your pup should be taken to a vet anyway, for a general check - up,shots and worming for other types of worms, and to be started on heartworm preventative. Also,if the dog has tapeworms,it probably has fleas as well,so you need Frontline.Just make an appointment with a vet.

Take her to the vet straight away. She probably would have needed a check up soonish anyway (because puppies need their vaccinations and that sort of stuff), but you can't wait for whatever schedule you had while she has worms. I would also suggest contacting wherever you got the puppy from too, because if it was a breeder/pet shop or any situation where they have other dogs I'm sure they would like to know.

You should take her to a vet so she can get a medical treatment for internal parasites. Because the white rice looking things you saw in the poop are the segments of the parasite carrying the eggs. Your puppy can get re-infected again while licking herself and taking the eggs again.
Rectal itching and weight-loss are some symptoms of this parasite.
Internal parasites prevent your dog to utilize the nutrients she gets with her food since they settle in intestines. So she cannot growth properly. Some internal parasites physically can obturate the intestines and cause fatal occurences. Again internal parasites disrupt the defence mechanism in the body so the routine vaccines which your puppy should take cannot work properly.
Every intestinal parasite is sensible to various drug types. This is why you should get your puppy to a vet. A vet can determine the type of the parasite and give the correct medicine according to the type of the parasite.

you really need to take her to the vets the rice tyoe worms are probably tapeworm caused by fleas, If she is acting always hungry good chance she has other worms as well and she needs a good flea treatment as well as your house.
This shouldn't be severe yet but can get severe and can even kill if not treated.

ehw. sounds alot like pin worms to me. if it that is what it is, then its deffinately not serious, but won't go way on it's own, and you'll need some meds. call your vet office and tell the phone operator there about it, and if recommended, deffinately bring her in. better safe than sorry :]

It does sound like something serious. You should take her to your local vet and get her checked out to make sure everything is okay.
Whenever you aren't sure of something, take her to the vet, its better to be safe than sorry.
