we've been dating for one month now, and it was my bday last week. but he hasnt gotten me a present yet due to bank transaction problems. he took me out for lunch tho. i havent been able to see him since then, and it's his bday on wed. should i get him a bday present even though i havent received one?(im not being selfish,just dont wanna look like as i care more abt the relationship)

what should i get him?

i dont think that you would look like you care more about the relationship if you were to get him something. it doesnt have to be something spectacular, but maybe a lil something something like ... a shirt? & lunch? =)

Bank transaction problems (my butt) I would say excuse. Anyway take him out to lunch and thats it. If he does not appreciate it youll know. Don't make excuses either. Just give him a card maybe. He might just wanted to see if the realtionship was going to progress further before he gave you any presents or he may just be a cheapskake moocher. You will find this out in time. So just don't start spending all your money on him. Good luck girl.

take him out to lunch. he cant say thats not enough, since he did the same to you. But if u really feel like giving him a present try wild sex, or a watch, cologne, alcahol, seat covers yeh dont know.

you can either get him a crappy present or take him to lunch dont spend over $20 on a gift if u decide to get him a gift
but take him out to lunch (if you coose to) at a place at the same standards as he took you! lol hope i have helped

I honestly probably wouldn't get him anything, just go out to lunch or make him dinner :)

Take him out to eat if you really are unsure. It won't hurt to get him something, but it depends on where your relationship is at this point. One month, do what you are mot comfortable with. You don't have to follow his lead.

why not just take him out to lunch.its only been a month .get him a present a xmas and if he doesn't get you one .tell him not to let the door hit him on the way out.
