i met this guy last Friday when i was out in town.
last Monday he text me and we have arranged to meet up and go out on a date when he comes back from his two week holiday in new york.
saturday nite he text me from new york asking how I was and telling me all about his holiday.
he also asked if i still wanted to meet up with him when he gets back.
is he interested in me???

If he were NOT interested in you, why on earth would he ask you out on a date and write to you, tell you about his holiday, and ask if you still wanted to meet?
Then again, maybe it is a joke and he doesn't want to meet you or he is married or something else horrible. that case, I wish I were there to date you instead.
