i heard that cigarette smoke can cause a man some problems in bed -- like not being able to get it up. is this true?

Yes.

It constricts vascular structure and the penis is a very vascular organ.

It also decreases blood oxygen levels which makes smokers more tired and fatigued.

Even young men who are very heavy smokers can have erectile dysfunction.

Yes as smoking causes hardening of the arteries and effects adequate blood flood to the penis and compromises oxygen levels. For those who do not know what they are talking about read this link for proof.

Yes. Smoking decreases blood flow over time and the penis takes more time, effort, energy and arousal to become and stay engorged as a result.

Never heard of that. I smoke and have never had any issues in that department. It may be something else causing that. I'm not an expert on ED, but that's sounds like there's something else going on.

yeh im pretty sure it is because nicotine effects blood vessels so it is a possibility. Alcahol is another thing that effects preformance, as well as stress, and a bunch of phycological issues such as depression.

in some people it can. now the reason being is a lack of oxygen in the system. it depends on how active the person is...whether or not they may excercise.

Most probably a myth.
But it will definately affect his health and appearance. No matter if it affects him during sex, I would convince him to give it up anyway.
Not to mention it would taste like kissing an ash tray!
