It's hard to say without knowing what is causing your low credit score... but I would begin by paying all of your bills on time and if you have any credit cards, pay them down to at least 50% of the credit limit. Good Luck!

Here are a few ways to raise your score: (but please keep in mind that these are long-term solutions. an increase will not happen over night)
1- Pay your bills on time. 35% of your credit score is based on payment history. That's a fairly large portion. It's important to pay your bills on time. If you've been late in the past, get current and stay current.
2- Reduce your debt ratio. How much you owe is another large part of yoru score (30%). If you are carrying a large balance on your credit cards, pay those down as soon as possible. If you are close to maxing out or are over the limit, reduce those balances ASAP. The rule of thumb is that at any given time, you should not be borrowing more than 40% of your total credit lines. Anything above that starts to harm your score.
3- Only apply for new credit as needed. Many people don't realize that inquiries bring down your scores. If you think you don't really need the credit or you are attempted to apply for just one small perk, it's better to just walk away.
4 - Correct errors. Millions of people have errors on their credit report. Study yours carefully and make sure that everything is really yours. If you find something that's incorrect, write a letter to the bureau to have it investigated and updated.
I hope that helps you!

First, make sure all the information on your credit report is accurate.

Second, try to pay off all or any accounts that are currently in collections or make payment arrangements with the creditor to pay off the balance monthly.

Third, any credit card that is over 50% of the available credit line should be paid down to under half of your total credit line. Your credit score is lowered when your available balance is over 50% of your total credit line.

Finally, if you have bad or no credit and have no credit cards try to obtain two credit cards and make sure all of your monthly payments are made on time. This will help increase your credit score. If you cannot be approved for a unsecured credit card, obtain a secured credit card.
