Which denomination you join is entirely up to you. Where do you feel most comfortable with God?

How will you know if it's the will of God? He will tell you. You just have to listen.

Okay, the Universalist Church does not acknowledge that Jesus Christ was the Son of God. It denies that He is the only way to the Father. So in that sense, it is anti-biblical. The Holy Spirit comes from Christ and the Heavenly Father, so I do not believe your Heavenly Father would want you to go to a church which does not acknowledge the revealed Truth He has given you. I pray you make a different choice, because if Jesus Christ is not Lord, then there is no gospel, no truth, no body of Christ, no Church.

Remember; it is God, the Father, Who draws you to Him for a relationship (see: John chapter 6, verse 44). It is He, who will place you where He wants you. God calls those He draws to Himself, the "elect". Sorry to list a Bible scripture in reference to your question - BUT, how can you be making reference to the Holy Spirit and not have the Bible [God's word] included. Should that be the case, then, you are only pursuing your very will assuming it is the Holy Spirit.

What have you done for God? This is the only way you are going to know what God wants you to do and how to receive the holy Spirit.

DO THE WILL OF GOD
You need to find a home church, be obedient, follow his word, be baptized with the holy spirit, show your self approved and do the will of God (Mark 16: 15 - 18)

When you know you'll know.
If you don't know don't worry.
We will all become enlightened in time possibly many lifetimes from now.
If a magic phrase could make it happen I'd give it to you but the Father calls those he chooses.
Not to worry, there is no hell, not in the sense you've heard and you will never experience it.
The incense of enlightenment is love, at least for me.
Jesus said that God is love and to love God and people without being judgmental.
Those statements sound non-literal but they are literal so the Roman politicians that took over the faith didn't change those words. I live to love and God reveals himself through it.
Good luck to you in your search, even if you come to weird conclusions you still have the love of God going for you.

I am now a Unitarian Universalist yet was brought up Roman Catholic. When I went to my first UU service I felt like I had come home. I feel that we all have different paths in this life. No one path is for everyone. "God" wants what is best for you (as long as it is ethical and moral).

ok...all these sects are made by man. God wanted you to follow his will...the Will He layed out in the Bible. Without the Bible being a follower of God is pointless bc you dont know what to do to please/follow Him. Go to a church that follows the Bible and you feel comfortable in. You should pray and God will help you to know if you are in the right place, but only if you are seeking to follow Him and know His Word (the Bible). Good Luck.

find a silent quiet area, where you shall not be disturbed.

then relax your whole body. and ask yourself, the question, when you are at peace. and allow any feeling that comes to yourself, any answer , to come. dont question it.

if the answer gives you a peacefull happy feeling and certain feeling, then know it comes from God.

His answer is certain and good.
