Religion is what I believe, mythology is what you believe. I think that what others have to say about their religion is valid. I love to hear of how others justify their religion, and I can often see their point of view. I don't necessarily agree with it, but I can understand it. The more understanding I have of someone else, the better I can understand myself. Isn't that what life is all about, self-understanding, and self-awareness?
P.S. Don't you know that snotty remarks are the trademark of R&S?

I'm a non-theist. Somewhat of an Atheist and an Agnostic at the same time.
I prefer not to get involved as I don't think religion should be taken seriously. I believe that people are free to believe what they want as long as they don't push it too far, if you know what I mean.
I do borrow some moral ideas from other religions however, such as the belief of karma to a non-spiritual degree, and 6 of the ten commandments. (The one's that don't involve god as much) So I guess I respect their ideas to a certain level.

It would be nice if all contained the same truth, but when compared side by side, there are so many contradictins, they can't all be true.
So...does that mean there is no truth? or just that there are a lot of empty practices? That's a journey of exploration in itself.
I'm also finding it hard to say, "No one comes to the Father except through Me" is open to interpretation. Seems Jesus was very clear.
So...was He a mad man who thought He was God? Was He a liarf who deceived others when He believed He was God? Or is He who He says He is?
That's where the real test is.

My opinion is that though I may not agree with some, I would still respect their freedom to worship their chosen religion. Just as I do mine. Blessed be Pagan.

I think that all religions are just fine as long as they don't use their beliefs to take away my rights. As long as they're not killing people or hurting kids, or taking away my rights to do what I want with my life, they're okay by me.
I'm somewhere between Agnostic and Pagan...I don't think anyone has answers or any proof to back up their beliefs, but I still think there are spirits but not a God.

I respect all religions because they all come from the same God.
"That the divers communions of the earth, and the manifold systems of religious belief, should never be allowed to foster the feelings of animosity among men, is, in this Day, of the essence of the Faith of God and His Religion. These principles and laws, these firmly-established and mighty systems, have proceeded from one Source, and are rays of one Light. That they differ one from another is to be attributed to the varying requirements of the ages in which they were promulgated."

Do you mean Religion or do you mean Beliefs?
There is a big difference between the two!
I do not believe in Religion but I do believe in Beliefs.
That is my opinion.

All religions are pretty old and sometimes seem outdated.
Islam seems to be the most modern (from a purely scriptural POV), probably because it's the newest.
