the year in which Christ began to gather the anointed. This is a serious question and not an attack on witnesses, I really would like to know. I have looked in my literature and cannot find a single Bible reference that relates to this subject. I do not require personal attacks for asking this question, just a simple scripture or two. Thank you.

Sorry, should have said began gathering in the 'other sheep', and not anointed. I can follow the reasoning and understand where the 1914 date comes from for Christ taking up his throne, however, I do not follow the reasoning for the 1918 date, when the gathering of the 'other sheep' was supposed to have began.

I'm a bit puzzled by your Q and wonder if you actually mean 1918 as the year in which Christ supposedly began to gather in 'the other sheep'. JWs have always maintained that 'the anointed' (people who will go to heaven) began to be gathered in from the time of Christ's earthly ministry, right through till today. But they 'invented' a new doctrine about 'the other sheep' that supposedly were not identified until the early 1930s. The 1918 date is not really connected to either teaching, however.

1914 is a significant date for JWs. Yet it has to do with Christ returning to earth invisibly to begin ruling as King of God's Kingdom. For about 70 years this was held to be the starting point for 'that generation' which would not pass away until Armageddon came. So, I'm afraid there cannot be a simple answer to your Q until it becomes clear whether you are laboring under a misunderstanding or not.

I think we studied about that in the Revelation book recently. Check there.

The religion you speak of is fairly new and, because of that, their creed is fashioned by the persons(s) who thought up that religion and they have to have something to claim as their own.
Total rubbish. Ignore it as you should with all religions which are fantasies in the mind of the weak.
