Ok, I'm 33, and probably not the most mature guy in the world, but I'm hardly the least.
I find it a constant struggle to show my wife how much I love her, because there are certain things that just can't be put into words.
I made it a point early on to really learn about the things that she loves. She's got a majorly unhealthy obsession with lingerie, which works out wonderfully for me incidently. So I shower her in that stuff. She makes jewelery and quilts, so I give her gifts that she could use in those areas.
Those are just random examples of the things she loves that I try to enjoy with her. I genuinely believe that it's not the gift that she loves, but the fact that it's a gift I really thought about and because I took her interests into consideration, instead of some random thing that I hope she likes.
But I also try to do the little things, like keep the house clean, and run her a bath, and let her sleep when I know she needs it. I do get her flowers, but only when I know it will be a huge surprise to her.
But the most important thing of all is to be good to her. Be nice. Tell her you love her. There's no such thing as saying it too much.

You're going to get a lot of different answers to this. Different societal norms and cultures lead to many different expressions of love...
Personally, I show love by being honest (even when it hurts) and trustworthy. By showing affection, regardless of who can see. By standing up for my significant other, and defending her...even from friends. By telling her not only that I love her, but why I love her. Sometimes I tell it in the way I touch, and sometimes she sees it in the way I smile at her. Even the act of gift giving can convey love if you take the time to choose something meaningful.
Again, there are going to be many ways. Remember to be open-minded, but not too naive with the answers you receive.
Good luck. Searching for love is only half as exciting as recognizing it when its been there beside you the whole time.

I think the best things are free and only cost time and effort. Like cook her a meal and then CLEAN up the mess you made and wash and dry the dishes afterwards. Leave the toilet seat DOWN after you've used it. In other words, be considerate of her, listen to her, spend TIME on her and WITH her.

Mutual interest. By showing that you can take an interest in something that she really enjoys, even if it's a shallow interest that's more just a show of support, it shows some dedication to her - that you're willing to be part of things that she likes to do or interests that she has, regardless of your own opinions or ideas of the whole thing. (And, if somehow you become interested in something she is as well, that's even better.)
If a man really loves a woman, he won't mind accompaning her to the antiques market, or to the gardening store to pick out petunias, or even going out to see an opera or a ballet.

By treating her like a person, not a possession
By honestly caring about what she thinks
By not thinking that gifts are a replacement for time spent together.
By allowing her the freedom to be her own person
By remembering when to have the chocolate ready
By meaning it when you look them in the eyes and say "I love you"

Us men have a hard time matching our feelings with our actions. My girlfriend told me I need to "show" that I love her so she doesn't doubt it. I think that means I should do more random acts of love. In addition to some cliche activities, throwing in some surprises will hopefully "show" her that I love her as much as I do.
I hope this helps...

rebel rae, bring willie in
Maybe I didn't love you
Quite as often as I could have
Maybe I didn't treat you
Quite as good as I should have
If I made you feel second best
Girl I'm sorry I was blind
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind
Maybe I didn't hold you
All those lonely, lonely times
And I guess I never told you
I'm so happy that you're mine
Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind
Tell me, tell me that your
Sweet love hasn't died
And give me
Give me one more chance
To keep you satisfied
satisfied
Little things I should have
Said and done
I just never took the time
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind....

When my man makes me breakfast in bed...nothing beats this....he is not the best cook and not confident in the kitchen but when he brings a plate of bacon and eggs in it is one the sweetest effort he could go to.
