Not me. I have heard of potato batteries, and batteries made using citrus fruits, but I have heard these are not very reliable, and are mostly for demonstrating basic science concepts.

Well, I have an answer for you with the help from www.iht.com .
A company called Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute has developed a battery made from paper. It can be cut, folded to the size you wish. The prototype is only a few centimeters in size. Go to the web site and it should tell you more.

Yes. It is a new technology invented by a group of students. It has many potential applications but right now is not practical. It is VERY expensive to produce at this point. It will, however, be important in the future.
