I had pretty long hair and i dont know what i was thinking because i asked the stylist to cut it shorter but he cut it about 4 inches shorter then i asked,my hair is now about a lil longer then shoulder length and he made all these weird layers, also he put bangs but not normal bangs he has it curved to a side kinda so it looks like a bad attempt at side swept bangs. so my question is, does anyone have any advice on what i should do to make my hair look better til i grow my hair back out to where it used to be?

Extentions, if possible. Meanwhile, straighten your bangs or pin them up or to the side. Clips, headbands, and whatnot would help too.
Maybe you'll get used to it after a few showers and you'll learn to work with it then.

If the bangs are uneven have someone help you even them out a little bit. And if there are a lot of layers maybe you could play them up. Use a flat iron to get your hair smooth and use a pomade play up the layers. Or you could just put on a cute headband.

well its good that it is longer than shoulder length because it is less likely to see flaws it may have and you can always put it up or siomething if it is long enough
use a large curling iron to curl the layers so they dont look all flat and wierd
you could try some texture wax stuff for the ends for a funky look
pull your bang up with boby pins or barettes
use thick funky or bold headbands

but i think you shouldnt do a thing to it
You should really just wait to let it grow out again but it looks super cute already

Whenever I get a bad haircut, I wear hats and caps until it grows out. You could however, try having someone else reshape it.

flat iron it straight. i actually like that pic. no one else will think it looks dumb because it's trendy right now. if it doesn't grow on you, you can always let it grow out, back to your beautiful long hair.

actually i think your hair turned out gorgeous :]
but if you want to change it i guess put it up in a pony tail or do twisties or something with it

you could go back to the salon and tell them that its not what you wanted and they will probably fix it for a discounted price.
