I dyed my hair every color under the sun from the time I was 12. Now 12 years down the road, I had to chop off my waist length hair... off! I mean to my chin...!! because my hair was so badly damaged. I love the punk colors, but if your hair is an asset, natural is so the way to go.

Yes. Some mothers dye their child's hair even when very young for reasons only the mother knows.

So- I think you wanted to know if children do the dye-hair thing on their own. No, they dont. It is usually their mothers who start it, or they see other kids in school with dyed hair and they want to do exactly the same thing. It is a pack mentality at that age.

As for hair dyes, it is not recommended for very young children because of the prescence of minute amounts of lead in any hair dyes. Hennas are toxic to anybody with G6PD deficiencies.

Henna is not suitable for anyone who is glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) enzyme deficient - if in doubt, check with your doctor.

9Due to G6PD enzyme deficiency, neither is henna suitable for use on infants, * young children, or anyone who is severely anaemic.)http://www.renaissancehenna.com/dangersandwarnings.htm

I have dyed my kids hair since they were nine. Since it's something allowed, the novelty has worn off and they both let it grow back to their natural colors and dying isn't a big thing to them any more.

I don't know your age but I'm a thinkin' that ya oughta be a bit less concerned with hair and more with brains (yours that is).

If you have nothing better to do than to dawdle about the color of your hair then you certainly have some time to learn to spell.

died = dead, as in passed away.
correct spelling = dyed.
there = over there, as in, he walked over there.
their = ownership, as in, it was in their best interest to learn how to spell.

Yeah. When I worked at camp there was one like eleven year old who had like brown hair when it was supposed to be blond and it had pink streaks in it.

Yesss!! I know this one girl at my H.S. who dyes her hair so much that I think that she damaged her hair. Her hair would sometimes be blonde for a period of time, then red for a period of time.

Isn't it bad for your hair though? My mom wouldn't let me because she said I'll regret it. She said it'll make my hair really frizzy and get grey or white hair.
