I heard about frame rails that you could buy for a 240sx...I am wondering what do they do exactly. Heres my problem I have a 240sx that wont pass the inspection du to the rust on the unibody.. frame.. If I install those on my car will it be a safe repair?
Will it hide the rust ? Thank you

Actually the engine rail on each side from the engine wall to the bumper are replaceable then you will have to deal with any rust behind the rear wheels. This is major reconstruction mad worse by rusted areas engine rails wont address the floor board to fire wall rust. And any rust you cannot see eating away at the area below the front windshield. Just find a Texas donor car with a bad transmission or engine...Or sell it to a drifter.
