There are many things that it could be....one is pluricy. It's kinda like a cold in your shoulder that generates in your chest. If you have been sleeping with the air conditioning on or a fan hitting that one general area, that would be the answer. Another could be "gas". Since you are so young, I don't think you should be concerned of any heart troubles unless you have a history in your family. Another thing is you might have hurt or bruised your shoulder and it will generate the whole side. I would still see a doctor if the above doesn't match.....good luck

it can be alot of different things, is your pain coming when ur non active or active, sleeping or awake? are you healthy or obese? the the pain a sharp, dull, fixed pain (just in the chest & upper arm) the pain in ur chest accure after eating? there are many factors that can play into your problem explain a little more maybe you can get a clearer answer but if you feel scared by it then see a doctor better safe than sorry

It sounds like muscle strain or tension. You could be sitting at the computer too much (I'm bad about that...), or doing something without thinking that is stressing your arm. If you've had any sort of injury to your torso recently, you could have cracked a rib (not likely, but it does happen); it can even happen if you've been sneezing or coughing violently! If it continues, see a doctor; for now, you might consider doing something to relax yourself and that area of your body.

Good luck!

Being 45 (and a hypochondriac) I would probably drive straight to the emergency room or call 911. But since you are only 20, heart problems would be very unlikely. I think the best thing would be to see your doctor just to make sure it is nothing serious.

Hey it could be really simple like your back out. It could be something serious like a heart complaint. Do not allow your mind to worry about what you imagine it could be first see a Doctor and rule out heart and other organ issues. If nothing comes of that see a chiropractor and see if it is your back.

If it is stress then the longer you leave working out the longer you are going to suffer.
