yeah that sheep part , i could get a logical explaination though.

some interpret it that a non christian who does that good work will be rewarded by jesus.

yet some say this only applies to those who had faith in jesus.

but isnt faith only that get you to heaven and thus works wouldnt be judge..?

religion isnt mentioned though ,.. onli works..

if someone with super faith in jesus yet is wicked but confesss will he be judge there too?

yes this verse do point that salvation is possible for non - christians.

they do at least show to a reasonable degree that there is salvation for non - christians.

why didnt conservative christians point this out too when they are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DAMN sure non christians goes to hell?

for all those verse mentioned , jesus is mentioned too.

if jesus forgive a buddhist who see him in hell , doesnt it fits all the rule ? repent / confess , jesus also the way since he forgive them?

thanks but i don't know how some of them manage to twist all into some , i have no idea how they cant twist it that it fits them only. considering that if they do so , it would contradict their fundemental belief. yet they still refuse to acknowledge them.

I am not a Christian universalist, but here's a quote.

"All flesh will bless his holy name forever and ever.” ~ Psalm 145:21

And in the Christian scriptures, did not Paul write that “every knee will bow” and “every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father”?

Mainly, though, universalism seems to be based upon the concept of justice. No crime, however heinous, deserves to be punished by eternal suffering. That is not justice. And if there is a just god who judges the living and the dead, then he would not pass an unjust sentence--especially upon beings he loves as his own children.

From the Bible? From the Koran?

If you are talking about the Bible then Mathew 25:31 on is the best. It is usually taught that the "sheep" are Christians and the "goats" are non-Christians. But if you actuallly read the parable yourself you might see a different story.

You can also find a verse in the NT where it says that some believers won't be going to heaven. Notice that in Mathew 7:21 on the people that Jesus is talking about did in fact do wonderful, miraculous things in the name of Jesus. But they still won't make it to heaven.

I've seen more verses both in the OT and NT that can easily be interpreted in a way that allows non-Christians to go to heaven. You should read the Bible from cover to cover. You will find many interesting things that are NOT talked about in church.

Here is another one. Revelations 22:12. Notice it says "according to what he has DONE". (Of course some people will say that "done" includes "believe".)

http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Revelations%2022;&version=31;

Also, pay attention to where Jesus talks about who goes to heaven who goes to hell in the gospels (this would be both parables and also answers to questions). It is usually based on deeds and not on a belief in Jesus.

Ecclesiastes in very interesting, too. (As is much of the OT and its ideas on "salvation".)

"...and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it."

http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=ecclesiastes%2012:7;&version=31;

As far as people with super faith in Jesus who repent of their wickedness at that time? Well, who knows? But I think that, like another person said, Universalism is based on an idea of "justice" and one "justice" of Christianity is that Jesus died for us, and if we only believe in him and confess our sins we will be saved. So probably that person, too, would be saved. And also the verse that another person gave, "every knee shall bow, every tongue confess" is a great universalist one.

I like what you are saying. As for why conservative Christians don't "see" these verses or why they say these verses aren't about universal salvation? Well, I don't know. But it is ok to let them be. GOD will be with them as well. Many Christians I know and have known are not Universalists when they are young, but when they get older they "naturally" become Universalists. Peace to you.

Okay non-believers can go to heaven. I am an Athiest to begin with. However Christianity seems to have dominated this idea of "heaven" and believes that only those who believe in Christ will end up there. Christianity seems to have a monopoly on heaven. I think that all members of religions can end up in this "heaven" if they follow their religion properly and do not hurt others. You do not have to be a believer in Christ to go to heaven (that is if there is such thing)

There is none. That's part of being a universalist You don't have to be part of any specific group or follow any specific set of rules set out in a book. Believe what you want is the philosophy. If you DO want a real answer, define non-believer, and you might be able to find one.
