I met a guy through a dating service and we had a great first date. We made plans to go out again, but he stood me up.
Now, I see he has posted his profile again. I set up a fake e-mail address and I'm setting up a "date" with him so he'll be stood up this time.

He stood me up two weeks ago - there has been plenty of time for him to call or e-mail me.

normally id say ask him first before u mess with his head but since he put his profile back up then hes a jerk because if something was soooo important and serious that he could blow u off then why put his profile back online instead of calling the awesome girl he had a great time with already? he sounds shady and u deserve better..i say go for it girl...when u set up the new accoutn and he asks for ur name tell him ur name is Karma ;)

It would be good to revenge back wouldn't it, but still you could move on and forget about him. Or you can ask/email him why he stood you up. He may had something to do that night, bad weather, family problems, or his dog/cat died. You will never know until you ask, there will always be that question doubt hanging over you head, if you get the truth...you will feel alot better in the long run.

I really try to not look for revenge on stuff like that, even though it sure is tempting! I am really honest, so I would probably just call the guy and be like "Hey, I am glad you stood me up...because I seriously wouldnt want to be getting into a serious relationship with such a coward. Thanks for saving me the waste of time!"

Did you ask him what happened?
My opinion is that since he stood you up and it sounds like never contacted you since then he's not interested, what you're doing is ok since he didn't have the decency to own up to it. But it seems kind of excessive since you only had one date. I could understand doing this more if you had been dating a while, but it's your decision.

Sounds good, but if it were me I'd set the date and go. You can see the reaction on his face when you walk out.

Well, you could take the high road and just move on, but I don't think anyone would begrudge you a little revenge as long as that's as far as it goes.
Me, I'd move on; life is too short.

Usually I would say 2 wrongs don't make a right, but good for you for doing that. That is some good revenge and it was rude for him to stand you up with no explanation.

since you met this guy through a dating service, the best way to do it is to sent a feedback to the Moderators of the dating service.
This way they might be able to blacklist him....
I dun believe in the revenge you have setup for him.
it shows that you are no different from him even though he did stood u up, you do not need to lower yourself to his level.
