Jesus was certainly a prophet (a man selected by the God to convey His message to fellow human beings) sent to Israel. He was given a book which was recorded by his disciple Banbaras which were later destroyed by his enemies and name of Banbaras was eliminated from the list of disciples.
In India also prophets were appointed in olden days to guide the society. But later their teachings including that of Jesus were manipulated by subsequent people and hence no original teaching is now available. Many of such prophets were predicted about the last prophet Mohamed who will be appointed for all mankind till dooms day. Jesus,Yohannan,Mosses etc have clearly indicated this which were later manipulated by their so called followers.
In India Veda Viyas has clearly mentioned in his Bhavisiyal Puran about Prophet Mohamed, his father, mother, his Hijarah to Madeena, name of his followers as Muslims ,their qualities etc. Remember that this records are in Sanskrit available with Hindus only and nothing related with Muslims yet tells the truth and evidences about what Qur-an says regarding appointing of prophets to all ancient socities all over the world and Mohamed as last prophet for all human beings till the Dooms Day

He was just another religious fanatic among hundreds of others before and since. But he was most vociferous about it and it seems the more dedicated and loud one is, the more people will believe what you say.
He was the son of a god, so he says, but that god, he claims, ordered him to be crucified to save the sinners of the world.
Personally, I don`t get it or understand it, it does not make logical sense whichever way you look at it.
What caring father would sacrifice his own son?
Anyway, his Mother, Mary, claime she was impregnated by a `holy ghost` probably made that up because she had been unfaithful to an aged husband who could not perform in bed!
Then she had to stand by her claim for the rest of her life.
File it under `fairy tales.`

There is no such thing as the son of God. He decided to start a new religion which made it easier for Jews to get by without sticking to the practises of their religion.
He was an ordinary Jew who stepped out of line, and made a nuisance of himself both to the Jews and the Romans.
Much of his religion was concocted hundreds of years after his death.
I do not know enough about Hinduism to comment on the parallel, but I do not think he could have got to India & back in the years available to him. Perhaps a Guru went to see him?

According to The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ, the Hebrews came from Chaldea where a pious man called Terah and his son A-Brahm of the Brahman faith. They moved from Ur to Haran where Terah died and A-Brahm down through Canaan, and from there into Zoan in Egypt, where Abram taught, learnt, then returned to Canaan, and founded the tribes of Israel. As for the story of Jesus going to India, a Royal Prince of India, Ravanna, saw and heard the young Jesus speaking with the Jewish priests and was smitten by the young boy and asked his parents if he become the boys patron and take him to the East to learn of Brahmin wisdom. Jesus wanted to go and he travelled to Orissa and was accepted as a pupil at the temple of Jagannath where he learned and taught. He later travelled, studied, taught and healed in Tibet, Persia, Assyria, Greece, Egypt, and finally back to Galilee.

The Turth is One. Jesus is a Shakti avesha avatar. (impowered incarnation.) He is not God but a soul impowered by God to spread the truth as it coul be accepted at the particular time place and circumstance. God is one with many names. The Hindus have misconstrued much of the Vedic literature as has King Constantie changed the Bible. Most of the Hindus lump all the demi-gods in with the one Supreme God.Which is a wrong idea. A demi god is a higher angel or empowered superintendentant of this material creation. Because they have supernatural powers and are much greator than most humans, many people take them to be God, which is a big mistake. As it is a mistake when they take their Gurus to Be God or Jesus to Be God. It is all a matter of Knowing the Absolute Truth. Yes Jesus did live in India (he studied the Bhagavad Gita at Jagganath Pure) He didn't die on the cross. He went on preaching in other lands after he came down from the cross. No one can kill a pure devotee. He was in mystic trance on the cross and was taken from the cave and healed with herbs and mystic powers. (He is one of the greatest healers, which is just a mystic power and science that can be learned by those with pure hearts. For the original New testament before Constantine changed it google gospelofthenazirenes.com Jesus originally taught karma, reincarnation, vegetarianism and no one goes to hell eternally. For the Original Gita as it is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada go to asitis.com you can read it on line. also go to harekrishnatemple.com Jesus was a man but not oridinary. (He was impowered by God)

Godsownsaint While I do not except any of the Question as fact I do not need an excuse not to believe in God my common sense tells me its nonsense.
There is some historical data that Jesus existed as a Man I don't doubt that but that he lived in India is make believe.

While I came across a lot of literature that relates abrahamic faiths to hinduism, I never heard this before.
As a muslim, Jesus for me is a great prophet, who will return to earth around the end of times.

There is resemblance of this Triaca but all hindu gods are men or man shaped but Christian have at least One true God and other two a prophet was a man and holy spirit the messenger angel Gabriel is exalted to the grade of god or part of God. They have no concern with hindus, it was Pauls ideas to prove Jesus death of wood which bible tells is curse. Since he loved him so he raised the idea of original sin, sacrifice and saviour. Later he and other people exalted Jesus as god while it was against the teaching of Jesus.
