gay gene(s)? obese gene? autisim? down syndrome?
mixed gender? or Depression?

Where do American draw the eugenics line?
Should the government step in? or should parents be allowed to choose their children in their own manner?

How do people who are both pro-life and anti-gay feel about this?

This is my CNN/ Youtube debate question for the GOP!~

There is a big difference between having a child that might be obese and having a child with a serious disorder. I am a nanny for a child that is autistic, and his mom and dad would not trade him for the world, even though he has literally distroyed the inside of their home. He is the sweetest boy. I know kids that have down syndrome that are the same way. As for being gay? I would not terminate a pregnancy because I might have a child that is gay. Being gay doesn't mean that they cannot live a productive life.

I think that being gay or obese or mixed gender are definitly not reasons to terminate a pregnancy. I think that the gay and mixed genders are more tollerated these days.

As for downsyndrome and Autisim.. I don't know, but these illnesses are very very hard on the parents and the family...

I dont really know enough about depression to take a side.

But I think that it is up to the parents to decide whether or net they have an abortion.
The government should only get involed with the date of termination. I personally think it should be done between 8-10 weeks at the latest..

but hey this is just me

Quality of Life is the big question...for all involved.

Being Gay is quite livable and obesity can be worked on...autism or Down's Syndrome would be more at the discretion of the parents, in my opinion.

...but I also feel that a person is formed outside the womb, by nurturing, experiences or the lack thereof.

Prior to birth you are not much more than a vat of organs and such...personality and character make a human being a person.

Those lacking the basic principles of character, personality and say conscience are no more human to me than an afterbirth, so I am not one to debate the whole issue too often...I avoid right to life issues on all fronts typically.

Once you are born you deserve the protections to become a person, once you violate the basic protocol of human decency...you lose those rights to protection and your life loses value in turn.

...so if a child is born, then protect it and allow it to flourish.

If an adult never becomes a worthy person, no matter what the reasons and commits any type of atrocities...revoke their life, to protect the masses.

I guess I have little faith in redemption and feel that if it's meant to be it is...if it never comes to fruition, then perhaps it was never meant to be.

No matter what the reasoning.

what the hell is a gay gene????????

i think if it is a serious disorder that means bubba wont have a good quality of life then yeah if the parents feel that thats a better option or that maybe they didnt feel competant to raie the child, then maybe termination would be the the best choice.
but there is nothing wrong with gay people its not like they dont contribute anything to society and i dont really get why so many people have problems with gays its ignorant.

No good reason for termination unless the mother's life is at risk.

What?! ...Forty days after conception the soul is put into the fetus...It would be murder to terminate a fetus after this time!!
A child does not become a human at birth...a child becomes a human forty days after conception.
