Forever, Creationists have been claiming that life could not form spontaniously from the materials on Earth by chance. Well guess what Creationists. Some scientists have almost created a living cell from scratch. They say that in 3 years, we will know how life could have formed from nonliving matter. I can't wait for those 3 years to be up. We evolutionists can finally tell the creationists to shut the hell up.

The key part there is scientists are creating life in controlled environments. It's not just magically popping up out of nowhere.
They're proving life can be created, which is more in line with Intelligent Design.

Actually, this research has no effect on the whole creation/evolution "debate". It's about creating synthetic life, not spontaneously forming it from base chemicals.
If anything, all this will prove is that man can create life from non-life.

I asked if this or the discovery of life on Mars would cause you to re-examine your religious beliefs. So far, most respondents have said "no". Some have even tried to use human-created artificial life as proof of "intelligent design".

Well, that is most optimistic. They could certainly create something. It still won't explain how Cro-magnon developed from Neanderthal - that missing link which still hasn't been found.

Make sure those scientists use materials that they themselves have created from nothing at all.
Otherwise, it really doesn't matter!
