I don't know one single person that waited until marriage to have sex. it's such an antiquated custom that not many follow anymore.

Not as much unhappiness as marrying someone and finding out they are not compatible sexually. But to answer your question directly, no. Promiscuity, ie, sleeping around, being a slut, etc. CAN have a profound affect on one's feeling of self worth and can make one unhappy. Misery and unhappiness are choices though. You can be quite a ho' so to speak and be perfectly happy, it is all in what you value and how you feel about yourself. But in what I have seen, it is easier, especially for women, if they maintain some kind of controls on how many people they sleep with. Don't just do it to be doing it... do it only when you actually want to and feel good about it and you will be okay. Remember we all bring to our lives exactly what it is that we are thinking and feeling.
