They honestly don't work. I know several people that have the same "problem". I only drink them because they taste good, and no normal pop (soda for you non-michiganders) tastes the same. Anyone know the reason?

Well I just love how you guys assume. I'm in shape, but it has nothing to do with me "training harder". And it's not about me overdosing, either. I drank one all day. You guys should stop assuming or you'll get killed some day.

Alex, you should try XS Energy Drink. The reason most energy drinks don't work is that they rely on plenty of sugar and caffeine. And, to be quite honest, if you read the medical data on caffeine, it's actually good for you in moderation. It's just that many manufacturers overdo it. XS tastes like soda pop, has no sugar (uses the same ingredient as Splenda to sweeten) and derives most of its energy from 4900% Vitamin B12. Your body safely metabolizes any B12 it can't use. It comes in 12 flavors/varieties and is comparable to Red Bull in price.
I hope you find just the right solution for your body!

You're expecting too much. Probably not really aware of what your body is feeling either.
Bodily reactions to herbs and drugs vary greatly. And looking for substances to make your body stronger is not a good idea anyway.
Stay hydrated. Drink what you like. Watch your consumption. Read the lables. "No more than 4 in 24 hour period." If you drink them alot you will become acclimated and you will need so much for the rush you will soon end up in an emergency room, of a drunk tank.

Energy Drinks help to rehydrate the body. They aren't performance boosters. If you want to be a better athlete stop relying on drinks and start training harder.

It is a scam that they give you energy. They give you caffiene and sugar-all their other claims are unproven. The fact that they make you shaky is a sign that you are overdoing it-most doctors recommend two MAX per day.
Find something else that tastes good to you to drink. I recommend water.

I read the caffeine in an energy drink is less than a cup of coffee.
