Me and my roommate want to watch sporting events and stuff, but we don't have TVs in our rooms. What would be the best way to be able to watch TV on our PC's? We do have access to TV's that we could put a slingbox-type device on, however we don't want to be forced to watch the same thing that they're watching on the host TV or force the host TV to watch what we're watching. Any suggestions?

Well, if you're pre-med or in engineering, you won't have any time at all for TV.

Otherwise, there is software or a hardware piece you can buy to turn your PC into a TV tuner.

This is a great site for watching shows, I'm addicted to it. Just click on TV shows then the letter that the show starts with and watch.

That depends, are you trying to watch it in real time. Or are you just wanting watch them as in like downloading shows?

If you want to watch it in real time, you have to have a tv tuner for your computer.

if you just want to download and watch you can use torrentspy.com and download Utorrent to be able to download the torrents.
