She should have been deported the first time around when she was found guilty of using a fraudulent SS#. This old crap about a child being taken away from his mother is a joke. This mother chose to put her child in that situation, shame on her. Now, as should be, she is arrested and bleeding hearts are "oh, how terrible, what about the children." These mothers are using their children as pawns and that despicable. If she had her child's best interests at heart, she would not have done what she has done.
To compare this illegal to Rosa Park is also an insult to Rosa Park.

Come on people, this woman is not a hero, she a felon, plain and simple.
If the churches want to make their church a sanctuary for the illegals, let them take on the millions we have, pay for their schools, rent, food and everything else the taxpayers have been hit with. When the church goes broke, to bad, they asked for it. Because, quite frankly, my opinion is they are looking to bring them in and get more donations from them every Sunday.

Serves her right to deport her, she is a criminal. All she was doing by "staying & fight" was seeking pitty from soft, sorry excuses for Americans that continue to support criminals of this sort. It is not our fault that she repeatedly violated immigration laws & then ended up knocked up & delivered her baby here. She should really reflect & see how she has abandoned, yes abandoned her son in this country when she should have never been here in the first place to put this boy in the position of having his mother taken away. Also, the fact that the article points out that she stated "From the time I took sanctuary the possibility has existed that they arrest me in the place and time they want," she said in Spanish. I am not even concerned of what she said, rather than that she has been in the country for the most part since 1997, the better part of 10 YEARS and still speaks Spanish. THIS IS AMERICA.... STOP LETTING THESE BORDER CRICKETS COME INFULTRATE & INFEST OUR COUNTRY!!!

I would not say I am happy. This is a great tragedy for her, but it had to be done.

Our culture is so compassionate that it has forgotten about responsiblity.

They see the plight of this woman, being sent back to her impoverished country & having to make the difficult choice of whether to take her son with her into poverty, or leace him here where he will have more opportunities.

But people forget one thing.

She is responsible for this situation! She came here illegally TWICE & committed fraud to gain employment in an area which requires high security with her false documents. She deserves to be deported!
