Yes abortion for ANY reason is murder. That baby has human dna inside, before its even born. and its living as it is growing, so what do you have . a baby human being. To remove it is murder and that is a sin.
What do I think about it? ANy nation that thinks it is ok to kill babies, is a nation in serious trouble. God will not bless a nation that will murder its own children, say that homosexuality is ok and take prayer from schools. If you notice since these things, just how quick the nation has gone downhill. Read the newspaper, hear the tv news, look around in your neighborhood. It will be sodom and gomorreh all over again, look around ya folks.
Blood sins such as abortion will destroy a nation and we see the effects of it daily. God wont let it go on forever. He will end all sin. Be ready to meet Jesus when He comes and be faithful enuff to not only believe but obey what He says. all of it. by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. God can forgive such a thing, but a person must ask and repent, and leave sin alone. God commands us to be like Jesus, He doesnt just suggest it. God is quick and eager to forgive, and ppl need run to Him soon, as Jesus is coming soon. Great question.. I pray many will go to Jesus today.... This stuff is all the devils design> only God is to take life and give life. When we end a life, we are playing God and God will not allow it much longer. Run to Jesus while there is still time...

According to Man's Law, it is not murder before birth. However, it is a huge mistake to think it is not something that goes against God's will, therefore there will be consequences for that.
A conceived fetus is not only a heart-beating that keeps the matter alive, but it is also a spirit connected to him/her. The abortion is the interruption of the life planned to come. The spirit returns to the Spiritual World with great suffering and with a bond with the mother that will have to be repaired in the future.
I am against abortion especially in these situations:
1. Women choose it under emotional pressure, when boyfriend denied support, when the father is a married man, or for fear of parents.
2. Women choose it for selfishness, when they put their studies and career in first place.
I think we should have:
- better sex education in school;
- every parent should take their daughters to a gynecologist at the earliest age (12 would be reasonable).
- gynecologists should explain all the methods to avoid pregnancy.
- condoms should be provided for free.
- the government should give single mothers more psycological and financial support.
I am against abortion... I am for prevention and support.
Those who are for abortion don't tell me that it is no trauma for a woman. Abortion is the worst experience a woman can ever go through. It shouldn't be treated as if it's no big deal. It shouldn't be reinforced. It should be the very last alternative. Yet, society make it so easy and simple that every one does that as if they are taking an acne out of their faces. It is not that simple! It is a psycological trauma for a woman, it can be a damage to her health, not to say to her life, and it is spiritually wrong.
I am sorry for those who have been through this.
Peace!

I don't have a clue as to how people can say abortion is not killing. Even when I was pro-choice (as a femi-nazi teen), I admitted that fact. I just thought population control was more important than allowing unwanted babies to live. Cold, but true. Let's look as some cold hard facts though- you've got a living creature with human DNA, a beating heart (by 21 days after conception before most people even realize they are pregnant), brain waves, little arms and legs a-swinging, and somehow it's location inside the uterus makes it okay to kill it. It's not your body you're killing, ladies- I so hate it when I hear that tired old excuse. What is about this baby/being whatever you want to call it that makes it okay to kill? It's location? It's inability to breathe on its own? It's incomplete development? Who among you would disconnect a born human from it's life support if you knew it would breathe independently in a few months time? I really want to understand. As I said, even when I was pro-choice I never denied that it was murder.

It is murder, it is a genocide, over 40 million and rising.
It is not a choice it is a child.
It is not the mother's body it is the child's body.
Since when did a growth have a heartbeat?
The murdering of these who can't even defend their own selves needs to stop now.

Yes abortion is killing !! We have so many Married people who want children but can't have a child, So why should you kill a child of God. If you can't care for the child, let someone adopt your Baby. You know it could be your child you let some one Adopt who changes the world.

Well for one, abortion isn't murder. It's merely a removal of a group of cells from a women's uterus. Not a living human being. And anyway, if you Christians are so against murder, then why do a lot of you endorse the war in which there is lots of killing aka murder? Not removal of a group of cells, but killing an until recently living and breathing human being.

anyone who does not think that abortion is murder, I really wonder what they think it is- oh yeah, choice!!
I have counseled women for years who are contemplating abortions or have had them- and not one of the women, over a 10 year span, had done a pregnancy test before 4-5 weeks after conception, and that early. Did you know that the baby's heart is beating at 3 weeks- a scientific fact. Look it up. And when a heart is beating and the life is taken from them, what would you call that- If a new born baby was left to die by the mother, it would be murder. If a woman was pregnant and both of them were murdered by someone, there would be a double murder. So why don't we start calling all babies that die, choice? WRONG-let's call it like it is, like this question says- abortion is in fact murder- just because it is legal, and just because "it is a choice" that does not make it right. It is so sad when I think that my 2 children could have been victims of choice- their birth moms chose life and am I thankful.

Abortion is not "murder" in light of the fact that everywhere in Scripture that human "life" is acknowledged, that life breathes AIR, a type of the Holy Spirit. Verses such as David talking about his conception and Jeremiah being told that the Lord knew him from the womb, among others, really aren't relevant as they deal with (1) the soul, and (b) people who WERE actually born.
That said, abortion is a great plague on our nation. It's sad when a seal or a tree or a dog is granted more rights and protections than an unborn human.
Equally disturbing is the contradiction and dichotomy of the liberals who condone babykilling while charging someone (Scott Peterson, for example) who kills a pregnant woman with TWO murders. They take it both ways, depending on their agenda.
Pathetic and sad, all the way 'round.

There is evil in every nation, not just this one. I think I'm more concerned about the children already born that are being neglected and abused personally...I may agree that abortion is a type of murder, but I also believe that we all have God given free will. And if it's legal for someone to kill their unborn child, well, I can tell them what God thinks about it all day long. In the end, people are gonna do what they want. I don't want to ever get an abortion, so I won't. But if someone else wants to...there's nothing I can do to stop them, cuz I'm not into forcing people.
