I think so, They force feed lies to simple minded people, all the while sitting back and collecting donations. Who else thinks that this insanity either needs to come with a warning label or be shut down, I mean I think these people need to start showing credentials from actual accredited schools.

there would need to be a balance between the need to protect these innocent and naive people with our precious and highly protected freedom of speech. I am reluctant to put any new restrictions of that freedom unless there is a compelling interest and would vote it down if there was another, less harsh way to take care of the problem.

the methods that could be used to protect, the requirements to show credentials, etc, would be likely left to the judiciary for the time being. This doesn't seem to warrant legislative intervention, without some gross violation of current law that might need some strengthening.

heads up to those out there with friends or relatives who might be vulnerable to blood suckers like these, and kudos to you for a heads up!

I understand you're reasoning. When regular con-artists are sent to prison for taking advantage of the same people, preachers are allowed to continue and get tax breaks. Had the founding fathers not wrote "freedom of religion" into the constitution, nobody would have joined the fight. As far as their credentials go, they are notorious for creating bible colleges just for that purpose.
Keep in mind how they permeate our society, the chief on down. If anyone ever got the authority to shut anyone down, then couldn't they use the same power to shut you down? Hasn't it happened before?

what about freedom of speech???? they have a different opinion than you so you think they should be silenced? hypocrite! besides that, main stream science is a money making scam. the AIG ppl are just as scientific and intelligent as mainstream scientists. science isn't about proving everything wrong, its about asking "why, how, and in what manner?". its testing to see if things work. not just proving everything in the bible or in another source wrong. what AIG does is see if the stuff in Genesis is possible in a scientific way, and they are finding out that it is possible. agree or disagree, but you cant expect people with an apposing viewpoint to shut up. look into how much propaganda mainstream science puts out there to make money for political (or other)concerns- global warming, finding the "gay" gene, the bird flu, finding life on other planets instead of saving life on our own. all of these are money making schemes. they leave out half the story so you freak out, start giving money to their causes, and they can do whatever they want to with the money. your brainwashed more than you think Christians are.

They force feed lies to simple minded people? Since you have to choose to visit the site how is that force feeding? You voluntarily choose to go there.

I am really tired of non-believers saying all Christians are simple minded. This stereotype is just as false as saying if you are not a Christian you are immoral. Their are moral non-believers just as their are extremely intelligent Christians.

I would bet I have as much or more education than you do.

Additions:

I did not lie I am a scientist. I have a bachelor's and master's degree in biology. I am currently working on my PhD in biomedical sciences. And just to stop you from saying this. My degrees are not from a Christian university. I do my research in a molecular evolution lab. I have had my research published in the Journal of Molecular Biology and Evolution. I know science. I understand evolution. I also believe that it is incorrect. There are just too many holes in it. You can be a scientist and a Christian. My knowledge of science merely reinforces my belief in Christ. I look forward to hearing your response to this.

I don't think so, but if I were an evolutionist, I would want them shut down. I wouldn't want anyone else teaching the only logical means of mankind's existence.
