When me n my ex was together, he gave me one of his pictures. That is one of the picture that he loved most and the picture was taken when he was young too. Now someone has stolen my wallet when i was in the mall and i cant get back again. The picture is in there. We are now friends but not so closed. We used to hate one another and things just got better. I know it is really bad to loose something someone has given you but what should i do now if he asks for his picture back? He did ask for it once but that was just a joke. Should i tell him now that i lost it or keep it to myself and tell him only when he asks for it?
its killing me. help me please

I would tell him the truth now because if he finds out later he will be really mad. It is not your fault that you lost your wallet but it is your fault if you don't tell him the truth before he finds it out some other way.

Did he give you the picture as a keepsake or just to hold.If it was just to hold, then I say to explain the situation---the theft of your wallet with the picture in it----to him before he asks. However, if it was given to you, then it belongs to you regardless of the current state of your friendship now and he can not ask for it back or expect it returned.If and when he speaks to you on the issue , then you can tell him what happened and apologize though not necessary since you did not do it deliberately.Good luck.

Tell him the truth that your wallet was stolen with the picture in it. He should understand it wasn't your fault. If he has a problem with it he isn't worth talking to anymore.

It was an accident, and maybe he has the negative for this photo and can have another made for you! Just tell him,so you don't worry over a picture for the next year.You will feel better. Take care!

If this person means alot to you, or is even a good friend, i would tell them. if, and when he asks for it or about it, you are going to have to tell him then anyways, and he is going to wonder why you never told him what happened. so i would just tell him. i dont think he would get mad at the fact that your wallet got stollen. that is not something that you did on purpose.

I wouldn't worry about it unless he brings it up. Then just tell him the truth. I honestly do not believe you friendship will be altered by a picture. He will get over it either way. Stress less over the whole thing. It's not worth it.

get someone to take a pic of you kickin his *** for no reason at all and really hurt the guy bad so that if he asks for the picture at any time (which i doubt he would any time after all that) just show him the pic of you kickin his ***..... im pretty sure the expression on his face and fear in his eyes will notify you he doesnt care about his old picture anymore and he loves you

Your wallet got stolen, what are you supposed to do? It was out of your control? Tell him the truth.

I think you should tell him. Most likely he has a few copies of the picture anyway, and he should forgive you. Although, you might want to wait a while, if your not totally sure.
