If you called/wrote/emailed somebody, how long do you allow them to respond before you call/write/email them again? Or do you?

I'm not waiting three months for anybody to respond to me. I don't give a crap if they're the pope.

*grins* Funny you should mention the pope.

Yeah, waiting a month even is really too much of a wait. I'd send a few e-mails, giving the person the benefit of the doubt at first (just in case something happened to them). However waiting an vulgar length of time like that to reply to you is disgusting and there is no excuse for such rudeness (particular in cases when you know they have actually been online). Obviously the person is NOT interested in having any sort of friendship and/or relationship. They don't value you, considering you "non-esstential". Its an insult.

One or two weeks.

I check my email every day, but I also realize not everyone does the same as me so I usually wait a week or two to get a reply. If I know they are on the internet a lot and stuff, I'll expect a reply within a few days.

With calling, usually a week. If they do not call back within a week I assume they are on vacation and wait another few days then call back.

Writing as in sending it through USPS, I'll wait a month or two.

I think a week would be sufficient, unless this person is A:unconscious or B a prisoner of the taliban.
as to a second email,it would depend on how much history I had with this person,if any.or if they owed me money(ar ar)

Hmmmmm.... Interesting....
It has happened to me when I asked someone here a question and they just never replied... So I never bothered to get back to them. Maybe I should ask the question again. It has been a while and I have let it slide.

Heck with months. One week depending on the situation. Use your best judgment.

Three months. First month, for understanding that he's busy. Second, for thinking that he has to think of the reply. Third, just to waiting for it.
