I have had this pain for almost a year now on the right upper side of my stomach around my liver area, it's like a burning sensation, it burns for about 10 minutes especially when I wake up early in the mornings. I went to a specialist and I did an MRI and nothing showed. Has anyone else had this problem before if you had it, can you tell me what were you diagnosed with?

Ask for a colonoscopy.

That location is consistant with where you gall bladder is.

However, the symptomology ("burning sensation") might also be non-typical hernia. If you force yourself to cough hard while holding your hand over the place you feel the sensation, does it pop out instead of hardening up? -- if so, hernia

I recommend you see your doc again. Sometimes getting these things treated is a process of elimination.

Pains on the right side are usually assosciated with appendix rupturing or kidney stones, or possibly just muscle cramps. But what you have sounds like a serious condition. Talk to your doctor, they usually can give you a better answer than a specialist...

How about a new mattress? The old one may have a lump in your favorite sleep spot and you get an ache there.
