Revelations says NOT to follow the wrong prophet.
If atheist choose to follow NO prophet, but at the same time NOT HATE GOD, as they clearly state here, isn't that a somewhat safe position to take in the war between Good and Evil.
Neutrality. The Meek shall inherit the Earth. We take no stand ONE WAY or the OTHER.
And I'm a believer, but when I see each and every atheist come out and say "I don't hate God" I take that as a positive sign.
It's the rest of us. The believers and followers that are more than likely to get in trouble, especially if we align with the WRONG SIDE.
While I think atheists who say "I don't hate God" and then say "There is no Sky Daddy" are a pradox, for they are humiliating God and Demeaning God, which is a form or riducule, which is not a nice thing. They're overt proclamation of "I don't hate" still has meaning.
Ridicule is an immature high school clique thing that Jocks and Preppies do to nerds and geeks.
I think that Atheists had better ponder that issue or maybe it's just the Trolls doing all that Sky Daddy ridicudling while saying "I don't hate."
This is a pradox and Atheists do have to sincerely address that issue of petty ridicule tactics.
It's not a sign of intellegence, compasion or humanistic thinking to ridicule anything, even someone's imaginary friend.
If it's in the nature of someone with the IQ over over 130 to make fun of retarded people, then maybe it's better to have an IQ of 70 and live in ignorance, than to be a brain and put morons down because they look and act funny.

I don't hate your God any more than you hate Odin, Manitou, or The Flying Spaghetti Monster. I just don't believe any of them exist.
And I did give your god a chance. I was raised in the catholic church. But I started examining my beliefs, and thinking critically about my religious beliefs. I came to the conclusion that there was no evidence that any supernatural god exists. I never saw anyone part the ocean; I never saw a snake talk; I never saw food fall from heaven, or a bush burn but not be consumed, or a dead man be raised back to life, or a few pieces of food be multiplied into thousands of pieces, or water turned to wine.
But I did see bigots hiding behind their religion, and using it to justify atrocities committed by them or others against people they looked down upon. I also saw pedophiles who were hidden away, or moved around to hide their crimes. I saw people who had a talent for logic and reason and critical thought use it in many areas, but not in religion, because what they would have found conflicted with what they believed. I also saw people who claimed to be open and loving and honest condemn those that rejected their beliefs. I decided that if this was the kind of people who were religious, I wanted no part of it. I came to the conclusion that for many christians, at least, the line from the old song was true, although not the way that they meant it:
"And you'll know we are christians by our love". Or lack of love, sometimes.

I am not an Atheist but I think that you may be misunderstanding them. Just because they don't believe in God doesn't mean that they hate him. I don't believe in the Gods of the Hindu faith but I don't hate them either. I think the sad fact is that many Atheists are driven further away by over zealous Christians who try too hard to convince them. Remember Christ never compels, only invites.

Hehheee first you would have to prove to an atheist that there IS a god. Perhaps you should TALK WITH some atheists before you start forming too many silly ideas concerning them.
In actuality, many atheists have a extensive educational backgrounds in several mythos types and religions.
There are some atheists though that have had some trametic event(s) occur within their lives in which they cannot see various god form iconic in the various religions.
Hheeee from a biblical aspective---there are atheists cuz god WANTS there to be...
EXO 4:11 The LORD said to him, "Who gave man his mouth? Who makes him deaf or mute? Who gives him sight or makes him blind? Is it not I, the LORD ?
...or do you have one of the LIMITED gods?!?

That would be like me asking you why you hate Zeus and Thor and Allah so much. I am not an atheist because I dislike the idea of god, or because I feel believing in a god does nothing for me, I just have found myself unable to believe in something that defies logic. I believe in what makes sense, and believing in something without any credible evidence does not make sense to me. I cannot conjure up any blind faith, and that has nothing to do with my opinion on your god.

Look up the definition of atheist.
Do you believe dragons exist? No? Why do you hate dragons so much? what have they ever done to you? Why dont (sic) you give them a chance?
Do you see what a ridiculous question this is?
Your god is nothing but a delusion. A false desire. Get over it. You are like the alcoholic seeking solace and comfort in the bottle.

you are so wrong on so many levels.
Atheists don't hate God. They DON'T BELIEVE GOD EXISTS.
Do you hate anything you believe does not exist?
Worry about your own spiritual life and let other's do the same. Stop being such a judgemental person. Being so judgemental only makes you look immature and ignorant.

I don't know that an atheist hate God, I think that they do not believe in him. I am not an athesist although I know people who are and they don't show a hate but more of a very doubtful air about religion in general.

Religion is immoral for presenting a false picture of the world to the innocent and the credulous.
Atheists do not have belief in God and so it is quite impossible for them to hate God.

Ugh, again?
We don't hate a god because we don't believe in him in the first place. How could we possibly hate something we don't believe in.
No, we don't believe in a satan-type thingy either, so there's no way we're working for one of those types of dudes.
Why didn't you give the Tooth Fairy a chance? Why didn't you give Santa Claus a chance? Why didn't you give the Easter Bunny a chance?
Equally valid questions.
