Ok well, I'm 16 and my sister is 19. Her boyfriend drives me CRAZY. When he is invited to family events, he picks fights with me all the time. I don't understand why, he'll sit there and wait for me to say something and then immediately argue with it. I can't confront him about anything because my sister would freak. He also seems weirdly interested in what I'm doing ... like I read my sisters text messages, and he was sending a bunch of text messages saying, "Is Becca going to be there? Is Becca coming? What's Becca doing?" (Becca is me).
He just seems obsessed with trying to get on my years. So y do you think he is always trying to start stuff with me and how can I get him to stop, without saying anything too harsh because my sister would be upset if I treated her boyfriend "bad" or anything. She has been dating him for 2 years so its not like its going to stop or anything.

I dont have a crush on him...he's not my type. I honestly think he just likes ticking me off. And its not like I have a choice, he does it at the dinner table when we go out for dinner has a family and it leaves me in an awkward situation because he says some really mean stuff and I want to say something back but i cant because my sister would get upset.

To be honest...it sounds like he has a crush on you, and he knows that he really should not. He is trying to hide it by being a jerk/its his secret way of flirting.
I find---the bigger the *** hole, the more they like you. Guys get a little wingy when they are in situations that they should not be in.

Find her shes your sister. Try to make things better, this could be the start of a beautiful sisterhood. Than you can try to get her to go home, its not easy to be on your own at 18. I wish you luck 18 year old's are very stubborn,if she is smart she'll come home. When she does work together get along.

I see that some people have answered that they think he has a crush on you, but honestly I think you have a crush on him. You a painting the story one way, but I am sure he would tell a different story. Take some time to reflect on that. He probably argues with everyone and are focusing on what he does with you because you want him to be obsessed with you. Remember that if someone is bothering you, you can always leave the room. p.s. why are you reading your sisters text messages?

He is acting like that because he is attracted to you. The guy has a crush on his girlfriend's sister. ewwwwwwww gross
This is a very difficult situation since it is your sister if you return his flirting signals your sister will never forgive you. Try to keep your distance and find a boyfriend that you can spend time with instead of hanging out with your sisters boyfriend

Hmm, I'm not sure about him being weirdly interested in you, but as for the arguments. Instead of arguing back, just simply reply, "You have your opinion and I have mine." If that line doesn't fit the occasion, just say something that will stop the debate.

He obviously wants you! He is just trying to get your attention! He can't be nice to you and flirt since your sister would be pissed so he picks fights with you. OMG! That is so crazy!!! Next time you see him and he starts with you, just be like " Do you want me or something? Go pay my sister some attention!" Then watch his reaction. He will freak out! I am SURE he wants you!!

I see trouble with a capitol "T". You need to have a talk with your sister and if she doesn't want to hear it, then tell a parent and let them deal with it. He does not sound like he's thinking too much about your sister and her feelings. This guy is trouble...big time!.

Well, you are giving him the reaction he wants-making you go crazy. It's the only reason he picks fights with you and gives you grief...because you let him. You get himto stop by avoiding him and not letting him see you get upset. Once it isn't fun anymore because you dn't react - he won't have reason to do it anymore.
FYI - you should not be going through your sister's phone.

you need to tell your sister that if she doesnt do something about her boyfriend that you are going to go crazy on him. tell your parents to speak with him if your sister dont want too. i thinks he likes you and that is he weird and sick way of showing it. but curk out on his behind i bet he leave you alone than. he is to old to be harassing you on the continual basis like that. GodBless.

I think he likes you. Call him on it. Next time say, "I know you're hot for me. You can't wait until my sister dumps you so you can ask me out."
