What I see is you look at people, However I also saw some of ths 'answers' So I would say that Christians are 'learning' the scriptural teachings and some are more mature than others. So wouldnt Satan do better trying to get the believers to disagree? He's got the nonbelievers already where he wants them. AND the guy who called it a f-----d up belief just EXPOSED how, three fingers always point back atcha! We Can speak on it. Asfor me I WILL tell only if asked.

Because there are SOOOO many different branches of Christianity. And ther is only 1 atheist. That is why i love my religion so much, I am a Latter-Day Saint we agree with everyone!!! Everyone has a little bit of the truth but we believe that our prophet had the rest of the whole truth that was taken away from the earth thousands of years ago restored to him. I am talking about the great Joseph Smith!!! Anyway the point is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the same ALL over the world. I teach the little children 18 months to 2 years and today we learned about how we need to forgive others. And youknow what is sooooo cool is that the kids over in Africa that are LDS learned the SAME EXACT LESSON TODAY!!! I love the gospel. PEACE!!

Actually, it tells me that the atheists' belief is simpler not that is it better. You don't argue because the single unifying belief is simple, there is no God. On the other hand, Christians universally agree that there is a God and that Jesus died for the forgiveness of our sins. Thus, they do have a common ground.
What Christians disagree about is what it means to practice their faith and that is quite understandable given basic human nature and the impossibility of any human understand the complete will of God! In fact, the foundation of Christianity is individual not collective...it is based on having a personal relationship with Jesus and choosing to follow his instructions for your life. God didn't give us all the same gifts/talents and he doesn't have the same purpose in mind for all of us...thus, it is hardly surprising that there are many different interpretations for the teachings of the bible.
There is no "bible" for atheists and no instructions for practicing that belief...if there was, I have no doubt they would be as divided as the Christian faith.

not all christians agree upon the same exact doctrine hence the reason why there are many christian denominations these days. you can chose to believe and try to find the denomination that matches the same exact church christ established in biblical times, or you can give up and call yourself an atheist. either way life moves on and once we all get to the finish line we'll see who was wrong and who was right.
ps atheist would agree with a muslim who may despise christian faith. so atheist agree because thats the only way they can protect the idea of solidfying a reason to not change their ways or correct their mistakes.

Because they have no belief other than there is no God. Christians all believe in the basic fundamentals. Jesus Christ died for our sins and is the only way to heaven. Its the little things they disagree on interpretation.
I know you dont believe but remember...somethings are true whether we believe them or not.

Atheists tend to be science based where the goal is to disprove the accepted. Christians seem to be philosophy based trying to prove the accepted. Philosophers can't agree on things as simple as the color blue while scientists have a single formula for looking at everything. just my opinion

Great website. Good on you for expressing yourself! In answer to your Q most atheists spend a lot more time thinking outside the square and rational thought leads to rational conclusions. On the other hand many xians spend their time reading a crazy archaic book that is as ambigous as it is ugly and so nice people read the few nice bits and ugly people concentrate on the uglier side (there is a mass abundance of that) as so they have beliefs that suit their own moral compass. Those who are ugly will justify their behaviour on the basis of their religion, which is easy for them to do with the bible on their side. It is one of the most absurd, contradictory, ignorant, hateful, sexist, mysoognynist books in history, so it is little reason it confuses many and leaves them with little common ground.
Keep singing!!!

Actually, I disagree. As far as religion goes, atheism is a single point of view - the lack of belief in God. If you don't have that point of view, you're not an atheist.
Taking in a wider scope, atheists have a whole variety of different opinions on various issues - abortion, the death penalty, politics etc.

35,000 flavors of Christianity and counting. The only thing most of them have in common is disparaging non-believers, non-Christians and each other.
Most of them are more religious and dogmatic than spiritual, and few really follow the teachings of Jesus. Most follow the teachings of self-interested, so-called prophets who twisted his words or made up words to put in his mouth.

This question tells me you don't know what your talking about!!
You only know your side, I doubt that you are around a lot of Christians. We do have a common ground and that is JESUS!
