Is Jesus the figurehead of a religion that was never his?

You know, considering that it´s Saul of Tarsus and St Augustine et al that have written the rules of the game, is the jesus incident nothing more than a flag to wave at the faithful?

Of course. As I've written before, Jesus would roll over in his grave (if that were possible) if he knew what people were doing in his name. He lived AND died a devout Jew and was only preaching to reform Judaism- he wasn't trying to get people to not be Jews.
