It would take complete and utter separation of all organized Christian religions.
Organized religion is biased, cruel and just plain unnecessary.
One religion is not better than another. (I'm not saying you think this... I'm saying the fact that the Pope said only Catholics are getting into heaven is completely BULL.)

I'd never become a Christian I'm not closed off to their beliefs and idea's but I would never take on the label. Actually I like that others have different ideas and beliefs then me if everyone believed what I did this would would be boring. I simply try to promote things that people should already do such as being respectful, trying to be understanding, and seeking knowledge. Respect is something you should give even if you don't receive I believe that if you are positive you can help influence positive change in others. If people would try to be more understanding maybe there wouldn't be so much hate in the world. Knowledge because I've been taught never to stop questioning. Sometimes I don't follow them all because my feelings get involved but I try and thats what really counts is trying to be the best you can. With or without religion and "god".

You just first need to be a Christian like I was to become an atheist like I am. It is great and you should try it. Didn't you know that all atheists were once christians? Besides, being an atheist nowadays is fashionable and also implies that you have an intellectual advantage over christians. Therefore no atheist will become a christian, apart very few exceptions of confused and lost souls. But I respect christians the same.

Misery loves company but I'm not miserable, so I'll remain a nonbeliever in Jesus. I don't think anything could make me believe in Jesus, now that I've researched Christianity and am satisfied that it's not true. Sorry- I hear what you're saying about feeling uncomfortable around those who have different beliefs from your own. It's too bad though, because if it were not for religion, I doubt there would be so much animosity between people.

In most places in the world (1st world countries) religion is not divisive due to the lack of them. In Australia many tick they are religious on the sensis due to parents beliefs but only 8% go to church regularly and people care much more about social justice issues or football for that matter than religion, so there is no real divisions. Anyone who is fundamental about religion ie talks about it to others, is considered unusual I guess, but only like someone who would talk about pyramid selling.
I don't find atheists, xians, buddhists etc unpredictable or scary. I have studied a lot about a lot of life philosophies and therefore don't feel any group is very unpredictable, their behaviour if anything is too predictable in the case of those like xians who follow dogma.
As for a belief in god, I would simply require unequivocal proof that god exists.

For me to become a believer of any faith, I´d need the absolute proof of the identity and power of a god. And then I´d need him to do it again several times in laboratory conditions, under every instrument possible to imagine. Then I´d need to go to have a look at heaven and hell to see with my eyes. Then I´d need to meet my dead loved ones. Then I´d have to receive a pretty good answer from god as to why things are so f... up on Earth and why there are so many injustices and so much misery. Then I´d probably have to think about it for a long while and repeat the whole sequence before witnesses. Then I just might give god a chance.

hard for me to be in a religion where the rest of my family are condemned if they refuse to convert . you wun understand if you are born in a christian family
seriously why do i get boo when i give the reason why i don't want to convert ? lol ? zzz
if you are born in a christian family , you know more or less your family is going to heaven with you.
SADLY I AM NOT BORN IN A CHRISTIAN FAMILY , i would have the extra task to convert every member in my family and thats alot to do so .
for the fact i did try and they tell me as long as you are morally good , you go heaven , well i also hold this thoughts .
considering 66% of the religion isnt christian and thus i can say 66% also think moral good = heaven.
of 33% of christianity i can tell you that half also do think that moral good = heaven . thus the doctrines and denominations that are deemed non christians.
religious people aside , 1 Billion people are atheist who also agree that if theres a god , heaven and hell , moral good = heaven.
seriously , many religion out there , such as Buddhism , taoism and many more , they do worship idols and stuff . many conservative christians are fast to said that they are worshiping demon.
HEY COME ON? THESE DEMON PROMOTE PEACE AND LOVE ?? THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THEY DUN TEACH SALVATION ???
seriously , i tried being a christian and found it extremely hard to stay as one when my mind is constantly bombard by the thoughts those who are good are burn in hell.
surely their morally good works are nth but filthy rags in god eyes.
consider this , if you have a 2 year old son who draw a ugly pic of you but still give it to you. do you find it extremely loving and touching ? compared to a 15 year old teenager buying some pretty stuff at the mart below and give it to you ?
A human like me can see the different , the all perfect and judgemental god in the bible don't appear that way. sure you can condemn me to hell . but i can tell you , i cannot believe the bible wholeheartedly , i will still have strong thoughts that morally good people go heaven if theres one. when i constantly hold this thought , i find it extremely hard to remains friends with non christian and arguement kept arising.
now i see why war is so common in such countries.
god make a mistaken when he created human when he found them sinning.
i wouldnt be VERY surprise if he made another mistake , and oh well that hell isnt eternal and atheist can go heaven.
anyway if he is the best judge , den i can say it isnt happening in our era. most people born in hindu would probably die b4 they get converted.
people in other religion are unlikely to convert due to the reason their parent arent in.
these people are burning in hell.thats very nice

People with different beliefs only seem threatening when they try to put those beliefs into the law books. Otherwise I really don't care much what anyone believes.
To answer your question, there is nothing that could make me a Christian. I find your version of what god is to be cruel, vindictive and pretty hateful. If such a god existed, I would not worship it.

I am not an atheist, but I was intrigued by your question and so I read all the answers given by these atheists. It seems that their hearts are hardened to a great extent as indicated by the majority saying nothing could bring them to Christ. I have a hard time believeing that they would not fall down and worship our Lord if he materialized in front of their face. The really sad part is that each and every atheist that has said nothing can bring me to Christ, will fall down and worship him on that day. But it will b e too late
Romans 14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
Come to Christ , Atheists Come to Christ

What would it take for me to convince you to be a Scientologist?
It's a strange question and I'm always shocked that it's up to us to believe in something without proof simply because it fits your lifestyle. Religion is for the weak of mind, for people who cannot control their own morality, who have an intense fear of death (real death... without a heaven or hell).
In all honesty, in this day and age with so much information at your fingertips if you choose to submit to the will of a god, if you reject scientific truths and try to impose your ancient folk lore on people (I refer to the teaching of creationism in many classrooms in America) then I personally think less of you. I think that this kind of social retardation is dangerous on many levels and I challenge people to really, really study Darwin, watch Richard Dawkins find out all you can about why religions is constantly pointed out for its flaws then see if, without the aid of your fellowship, you can convince yourself it's wrong. I'd be surprised if you could buy doubt you would try.
I would never be a Christian because I know better.
I wish I could teach Christians about life without a deity of judgement but they always get offended because the bible says I'm a heathen whispering lies in their ears. I think its a terrible shame and I utterly fail to understand it.

Ok here is the only way I will become a christian. I need to be paid $10,000 or more. The bigger the pay out the more faith I have. At $50,000 I go to church every Sunday. For $100,000 I try to convert people. More than that and I become a real life Ned Flanders. So if you really want to save my soul make with the cash.
