I've heard that some cats have thumbs, what breed is that? any answer is fine as long as it isn't something rude.

Some cats are born like this....I don't believe it is any specific breed. People call them "mitten kittens". They are adorable, but it isn't a specific breed.

There's the dew claw, which makes the 'fifth' finger which would be a thumb, but you're probably thinking of Polydactyl cats. These are born with extra toes.

Thing is, not all the bones may be hooked up to the wrist area on the extra toes, and not all toes may have muscles attached so the cat can use them.

I've got a polydactyl and his right front paw has one that doesn't move, the left front has one he can flex.

All cats have five front toes, including one that's set inside their paw and higher up like a 'thumb' would be. You may have heard about polydactyl cats, which have more than 5 toes per front foot, which can add to the 'thumb' look. It's not a breed, it's a genetic mutation.

It's not so much that some cats have thumbs as it's just extra toes that kinda look like "thumbs". There is no specific breed it's just a mutation that happens and the cats are called polydactyl. It's pretty neat, cats can have one or several extra digits.
