recently, i had a dream about my boyfriend and i saw his face, but his body was a skeleton. it was kinda scary, but i thot i dreamt that because he's very skinny and i just want him to gain weight. but when i looked it up in dream interpretation, it scared me because of what it is. it said this:
"To see someone depicted as a skeleton, signifies that your relationship with them is long dead."
i dont want our relationship to die. i love him and i cant live without him. help!! what do u think it means?

Unique, I would ignore the first two replies for several reasons.
First off, books about dream interpretations are, like Sun Signs in astrology, very generalized. They are based on an average, typical interpretation, often by quacks unqualified to practice psychology. In other words, they can be very much wrong when applied to real interpretations, And they can't possibly know the individual person or individual circumstances that apply differently to specific cases.
Remember, every circumstance is different and the only way to offer a valid interpretation is to consider the person involved, their circumstances at the time and the basis of the relationship they are in.
There are no blanket 'one answer fits all' when dealing with dream interpretations. Anyone who claims so is highly misguided or possibly full of BS.
My guess, and it is an educated guess based on your own feelings for your boyfriend, is that your original personal interpretation is a hell of a lot more accurate than what you'll read in some cheap pop-psych book.
Go with your original feelings and quit stressing out about this. You're concerned about his weight and this concern has manifested itself through your dream. That's what your dream is saying.

NONONO. dont be afraid. These things are only talking about overall not extreme cases. Dont even read those, it will NOT help you. They are writing baout it through a symbolic way, but you have to think what it means to YOU.
It might just be because you think he is too skinny. actually I think that is why. dont let a dream tell you whether to break up with him or not if the relationship is healthy.
You just think he is too skinny. Thats all. and it came off in your dream!

skeletons can also be symbolic of hidden truths coming out (skeletons in a closet, for instance).
There may be some new information that he shares with you because he feels the relationship can handle it. It might not be easy for you, but be brave because anytime someone shares their vulnerabilities with you, they honor you.
