I'm supposed to be going back to Aruba the first week in September (I can't get enough of the place). Will the hurricane pass by then? I've been told that Aruba doesn't get the hurricanes, but we have to go over Jamaica, Haiti, DR, etc. to get there!

It has already passed Aruba. You will be fine, Aruba normally does not get a direct hit from hurricanes, however it can see winds, high seas and rain from them. Usually they are at tropical storm level though.

you will be fine at that time. It will have passed. And, good choice on Aruba. it is out of the hurricane belt and always a great vacation destination. I was there and it was beautiful, perfect weather everyday and the people are very friendly. Have a great time.
