your awe is with nature this does not presuppose a god !
Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.

Yes it makes sense, but remember God loves you more than you can even understand. If you look at the Bible, which happens to be the only other religion I know about, Christ continually put us on His level. When he was asked to teach us to pray, he started with OUR Father. Not my father. He told us that the things he did, we can do. Over and over he reminded us that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. Try talking to him as though he were simply your best friend and mentor, because that is, in large part, what he is. It does not have to be difficult unless you make it so. Listen inside yourself for that still small voice some call conscious, it is really God speaking to us all. You can learn what his voice sounds like, you can walk in love with Him from now until after forever. The only commandment we need follow according to Christ is: To love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your might, and to love your neighbor as you love yourself. You see? God wants us to love ourselves too. I hope this helps some.
Blessed Be and may the Peace of God be with you

Being in God's presence is absolutely wonderful. God is not some terrible Ogre who wants to punish you ... He loves you and wants you to have an open and wonderful relationship with Him. He loved us so much, he robed himself in flesh and took our place on the cross, so that we could/would be reconciled to Him. There was no other way reconciliation could occur, because there wasn't anyone "good' enough to be the blood sacrifice. Yes, it is awesome to be in God's presence, and we are to respect God, but not to be afraid of him. According to 1 John Chapter 4 verse 18, There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear; because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. Vs. 19, goes on to say, We love him, because he first loved us. God is a loving God and wants a personal relationship with every person on earth; unfortunately many refuse to believe in Him or in His Word. So as you try to get to know God, talk to him like you would a good friend, he's always there to listen and if you will obey His word and seek his face, you will hear from Him. Yes, being in God's presence does get easier and after a while, if you're not in His presence, you miss it very badly. It's like not getting something you need desperately -- like air. May God enrich your life and open the eyes of your understanding so that you aren't so intimidated by Him. God Bless you.

Find God with a sincere and a pure heart. He will come to you and you will not feel an overwhelming awe in His presence.

For He is Worthy of your awe. He doesn't want it though. It is blocking your relationship. Be in awe, but think of Him as the perfect Father that loves all His children equally and totally.
Talk to Jesus as if He were your brother that you trust with any secret.
Then shut up and listen or just let the Spirit wash over you. Baby steps.

Hey dude, we are human BEINGS, not human DOINGS. God desires a relationship with him/her. Just be, and open yourself to grace, and you will find God in the eye of the ant. peace

Know yourself and you will know God. You are the creation of God and in first place try to understand your body, mind and soul. Then you will have the inner sight that will lead to God.

When you realize all that God has done for you...sending His son to die for your sins...it is normal to be in awe. Continue praying, giving Him thanks, and glorify and exalt Him. He is the center of your life and deservs your love, awe, and respect.
