Where can I find a protoboard?

I need the name of a store that sales electronics like protoboard or breadboard and wires and chips like flip flop or LS7400 LS7408, I know many of this are not for sale because are discontinued, but some similar. I tryed to find a store but the only one that I found was Radioshack, howeber, they never know anything when I ask. If someone could tell me a store, I just need the name, and I take care of find it.

Digikey and Mouser are 2 big outfits. Minimum order is $25. I believe else they chg a handle fee.

the 7400 and 7408 and 7474 are still staples but they may not be LS any more -

if u google key words of what u want u may be able to find smaller outfits selling onesees without fees.
