basically approximately each and every faith shares commonalities, yet i do no longer think of that each and every person of those have been copied. i think that by using fact there are some specific features shared by using guy that this sharing isn't a right away ripoff of Pagans. reasons why Pagan vacations have been further to Christianity replaced into so as that the church; which on the time had extra capability than the Kings, would desire to understand the place the Pagans and heathens of the villages and cities have been in the process those vacations. in the event that they weren't at church, then they have been in defiance of the church and that they may well be bannished or killed. i do no longer see Christians accepting this gentle against us and that i question why we proceed to ask those self same questions many times. i'm no longer attempting to be propose right here, yet i'm asking why we don't use our time to do something that all of us understand will help. it's the after affects of a centuries old smear campaign. Priests in Europe would call the old religions evil and satanic to convince people to join them. Then make Christianity similar to Paganism to make the transition easier and cut back on the outcry and public unrest (though there was still a great deal). Ever notice how Christmas is very close to the Pagan holiday of Yuletide and how easter's date changes based on the spring equinox just like the Pagan holiday Ostara.

Many (but not all) Christians criticize Pagans because in their opinion all those who do not acknowledge Jesus as the ONLY God have missed the point. Also many Christians are afraid of the similarities because they feel that if Pagan religions are not valid, that would make THEIR religion invalid as well.

This can be a frightening thing for some. Others can accept this and move past it.

In the beginning of the very early Christians, soon after Christ died, and rose to life, that was not so. But....Jud1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained, (to write previously ) to this condemnation (decision), ungodly men (inpious or wicked) turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, (filthiness) and denying (contradicting) the only Lord God, and our Lord , Jesus Christ. (meaning of words from the Strong's Hebrew and Greek Dictionary.) I see you've done some studying. I try not to criticize anyone.

Wrong, much of Roman Catholicism was copied from Pagans.

Christianity was not copied from any pagan religion. It is the evolution of Judeism. Once the Jewish prophecies were fulfilled the religion in a way split in two. Those who believed Jesus was the Son of God and those who are still waiting for their Messiah. Many religions share the same stories (ex. the flood) because they actually happened. A lot of our current day traditions may have origins in pagan religions but christianity does not.

Christianity refuses to believe that may of the customs and rituals are taken from Pagan religions. Yet history proves otherwise. Christians tend to say that Paganism is the worship of the devil when it is not so they wish not to associate with it.

Because in their minds we stole it from them. Archaeologically speaking, that is absolutely impossible, but I suppose it makes them feel better.
That fact is EVERY faith has borrowed from another. The Egyptians ripped off the Babylonians, The Greeks ripped off the Egyptians. A LOT of Jewish and Christian Lore is VERY close to Egyptian, which would make sense since many Jews came from Egypt.
You also have to remember that some Christians think we are all the devil out to get them and that all we do is lie to discredit God. Because I suppose they think we have nothing better to do.

Christmas=Yule
Easter=Ostara
Jesus rising from the dead= Mithras and Horus
Jesus dying for man kind=Horus, Prometheus, Odin, that list goes on and on
The ten commandments= 42 Negative Confessions in the Book of the Dead
Moses climbing the mountain and speaking to God=Gilgimesh climbing the mountain and talking to God
Noah's flood=Zeus' flood
I can keep going, but the fact is that no matter what I put here, very few Christians will actually go and look this stuff up and be opened minded enough about to see it, so I'm not waisting my time further

It is true, the Catholic Church baptized the pagan statues so they would come to church, and they Criticize because they don't want us to know the truth.
