each school would have the same resources, books, computers, lunch programs, air condtioning, heat, etc.?

what a GREAT ?. Everyone would have the same opportunity to get a education. To bad that the government hasn't get the balls to put education first.

There are state and federal laws. Schools are under state. After that it is up to the school on what they do with the money and put the education. Usually that is up to the community/city and the administration.

sounds about right...i mean i go to a small school and ours is better in a way than a big school not far away from us. we have air conditioning and they don't, we get all new text books and they don't, our lunches cost less, but they have more class choices than us. it would be nice if all schools were more alike so incase you move, you wont feel behind on stuff. and i think they should spend more money on schools...they spend more money on prisonors than they do on us!!
