I like Fox

As mentioned, there are pros and cons to each.

ESPN is by far the worst. They don't care about the fans at all. They don't break from a commercial for a caution, they do a lousy pre-race show, and their post-race show is worse. Rusty Wallace whines too much, and just as nothing was ever his fault while racing, nothing is ever his son's fault now that he's an announcer. The only bright spot is their tech center where they explain things to the viewers. It is exceptional!

TNT has the best on-air staff, but they've hooked onto the "Through the Field" crap that NBC always did. They also run inset interviews during the race. They seem to feel that they have to keep the viewer entertained by things other than the race. I want to see the RACE! I don't care if Ryan Newman wears boxers or briefs.

FOX is the best overall, but I just can't stand Waltrip. He was an ****** as a driver, and he's an emotional mess as an announcer. He cries at every race, and thinks he's so much better than he is. Their coverage focuses on the teams and racing, rather than the drama off the track. Their pre and post race shows are usually very good.

SPEED would be my first choice, though, if they could do the Cup and Busch races. They have it down to a science. They use a TiVO system during qualifying so that every driver is shown on TV. They cover the practice sessions, and discuss the tech that matters.

You have to go with Fox, because quite frankly they do everything better than the other networks do. TNT has too many commercials, and its obvious they arent broadcasting the races for viewership they are broadcasting for advertising money. ESPN with its coverage of the IRL and of Champ should really use the split screen they use when they show those races instead of the commercial interruptions. Not only that but Fox has the most knowledgable race announcers, ESPN has people reading straight off a teleprompter and they are trying to go way too high brow with a sport that is as big as it is because it still connects with the original fan base it had, while stil pulling in a variety of new fans from different cross sections of the public. ESPN seems determined to alienate every fan of nascar. TNT just has commercial problems, and a severe lack of knowledge in its broadcasting of races, maybe if it was basketball.

Fox is good because the crew does have fun, and you have a strong past champion and crew chief that understand/analyze what teams are doing. Yes I am a fan of DW and Hammond. Most races were on Fox vs FX.

TNT is the only one to attempt the split screen, which reduced the commercials that took away from views of live racing.

ABC: too good to run races on local stations?

ESPN: I'm still not sure they are showing fans what they deserve. Nice work with the inside the car work. What happened to Nascar's Pit Command system? Too Fox? I'm waiting for them to bounce a race around because it interrupts with other sports (like the Busch Races are). Why do we need to know what is occuring with other sporting events? If I want baseball scores, I'll go elsewhere.

Give me FOX for the races.I thought ESPN would be inovative but they are just copying FOX.
The broadcast team at FOX seem to know more of whats going on and can sure make it intresting in how they talk about it.

When I'm actually watching, it's a toss-up between Fox and ESPN. I just can't stand listening to the NBC/TNT guys.
Usually, though, I mute the TV and listen to NASCAR radio.

They all have their good and bad points. but if I had to pick one I think it would be Fox. I like how Darrell Waltrip can get things going and make it feel like a bit of a blast listening to the broadcast. ESPN and TNT are not bad I like how all the stations have the analysis but they seem not to have the little bit of extra pizazz Fox has.

FOX is astounding. in the event that they didnt have soccer in the autumn i guess they could carry NASCAR in the process the entire year. ESPN/ABC has ruined racing. i could incredibly hear to warren wallace rustys and mikes nephew from the geico categorized classified ads call the race. considering the fact that while does the draft grow to be a ingredient at richmond? I cant wait till Daytona while espn can clarify approximately how there is large smash positioned on. All of their announcers suck. Dr. Jerry Punch is a bafoon who rambles on he could desire to have stayed with the fool RACING LEAGUE(IRL). And what the hell is with the token black guy who performed basketball. He merely provides his enter and has no clue what the hell he's speaking approximately. Mike excitement, DW and Larry Mac are freaking dazzling. won't be in a position to attend till at last the Daytona 500.

FOX. I think they have a deeper team than the others. I like the balance they have. Joy keeps it flowing, and Larry Mac, DW, and Hammond play off each other well.
ESPN takes themselves too seriously (Rusty and Petree just don't look like they;re having any fun. punch is o.k. though) and with way too many people on camera, they look as organized as the Chinese army.
TNT- no wow factor. I did think Petty made a nice commentator.
