I don't believe that 911 were a "false flag", and this is simply a hypothetical question. What if it was found out that the 911 conspiracy theories were in fact true? What if the attack was actually planned out to get us into Iraq for oil? What do you think would happen if this became public and was shown as completely true? Would there be a revolution and uprising to overthrow the government or something else? How would you take it and view the government from then on? Also, remember this is just a curious "What If" question?

Another what if question. What if there were no democrates. Man how smooth things would be. Everyone would have a job and there would be no free handouts.

Dude, how gallons of oil have we stolen from Iraq?

Interesting question! I don't think we'd need to "overthrow the government," because I honestly doubt that most members of the Supreme Court or Congress would have been involved. Instead, we would have a huge outcry from the public--picketing, even *threats* of civil war--and the government officials who *weren't* involved would probably turn on the administration officials who'd planned it like piranha's on an injured gazelle. There would be inquiries, and a serious investigation (because the public would be out for blood), and those found guilty would be tried for crimes against humanity and very possibly executed... well, those who hadn't already fled the country! It would mean a *huge* shakeup, but hopefully it would result in Congress reversing a lot of the unchecked power plays this and previous administrations have made, making citizen's vigilance of our government far more common and accepted than it is now.

Oh--and just as there currently is a core group of conspiracy theorists who really do believe the administration was behind 9/11, once the proof came out, there would be a core group of conspiracy theorists who would be unshakable in their belief that the "proof" was fabricated by someone else, probably the liberals :-)

911 Was a false flage operation in my opinion.

The administrations behavior during and after is just too suspicious. there are way too many cover ups and lies.

Go to any of the 911 websites and read some of the information. Especially about bldg. 7

That's how I became convinced.

See, if I were only getting my information from corporate mainstream news (which I used to) I would not believe the conspiracy theories either with the way they are portrayed but they are biased.

Anyway, I don't think there would be any uprising unless NBC CBS ABC CNN FOX told them to have an uprising.

People like being mindless zombies that are told what to do and what to believe even if it is completely and utterly contradictory to what you see.

It is indeed an interesting question my friend.

I never take any side, personally, and this is aided by the fact that I am British, therefore not compelled to believe anything about this.

I have seen a video recently about one of these theories, and the whole theory is backed by video evidence. Surely that is irrefutable? Until the truth is known, though, all theories will remain theories.

I do have serious doubts about your President, though. I have read a lot about how he became President in 2000, and there are serious questions about the validity of him holding that position prior to the last election.

I am completely lost on Iraq though. Bin Laden was a close Saudi business associate of Bush's. Most of the 9/11 terrorists were Saudi. When America was a 'no-fly zone' after 9/11, a lot of Saudi suits were allowed to fly out of the country.

With all this Saudi connection, where on earth did they get the idea to invade Iraq and Afghanistan?

Oh. Right. Saudi Arabia was not withholding oil.

That's my take on things, but until the truth is known, we can only speculate.

I have a feeling it'll be a while, yet.

I still think if it were truly a conspiracy we would have started at Afghanistan and not stopped till we hit Saudi. Each time we finished with one country another attack or instance would send us to the next.

That said. Had it actually gone that route our nation would do what it always does. Gripe and moan about the government and do nothing. There may have been an impeachment process but again I doubt it. There's a lot of big talk around here but that's what it is most of the time, talk.

If a conspiracy was proven and even if a successful revolt against the government occurred...

(1) the country could revert to having a dozen or so fanatical factions just like the Arab states have had for centuries now! Or maybe each state becomes their own country!

(2) Or (my favorite) the George Orwell "1984" theory, with some kind of CIA/Big Brother Society controling everything, with our borders totally closed, undocumented aliens, the retarded, disabled, or anyone over 50 yrs old, all would be executed most likely! You'd need a travel permit to go from state to state. Families limited to one child etc etc etc .......

If this were true, there would be a serious revolution even between politicians. Someone would have to hang for this treason. The arrows would seem to point to good ole' Texas oil tycoon supporters, ahem..bush administration, but I don't like to point fingers. =P I have seen many viewpoints on the conspiracies that surround 9/11 but there is not enough direct evidence to link anyone in particular to it other than those who piloted to planes into the buildings. Bin Laden didn't even claim it even though he was proud of those who did do it. Sounds fishy? If not Bin Laden, then who provided the cash for the pilots training and living expenses?

Vote the Democrats and Republicans out of office with Libertarians like Barry M Goldwater.

The Aliens and Seditions Act was to silence true patriots.

People that say" ... undermine the USA..." or similar are ignorant and that cannot face the truth that some do not have the best interest for their fellow citizens.

Free speech does not equal to undermining.

Would you support or oppose Thomas Jefferson?

Undermining would be if someone created a militia and train for war like some white supremacist ie the KKK

What if you realized your government had conspired to have over 2000 murders for the sake of greed and control? For that is what happened.

All the evidence point s to it and not just in dark allies or on outragious conspiracy web sites. Ask any New York fireman how many detinations did they hear just before the buildings fell. Ask scientists that have anaylized the metal and know beyond a shadow that only a bomb with certain chemicals could have done such damage. And look at the videos where the bomb made a hole in the pentagon but it was too small for the airplane they said went in. It was an inside job, no doubt here.

Most people just would not believe it for to distrust their government is a greater evil. It is unbelieveable to think such, and yet that is just what happened in Germany. When people realized the situation, it was too late, and you were shot dead.

It scares me to think my government would do such a thing and yet all evedence points just to that. It still scares me.

I do feel it is time to clean house, senate and the white house of everyone. It is time to have a paper trail if electronic voting is used. I feel it is time to retire the electorial college who does not represent all the people. It is time to only elect ethical people at our community level.

What if the people reacted in an uprising? They would be shot on site, just like the people in New Orleans right after Katrina, just shot and kicked in to the water to float away. The president, & congress already made new laws to hold people indefinitly if they seem to object to anything they do. No court, no trial just jail, without bond. They have already covered that base.

That scares me more. They are doing so much that controls and inhibits each of us americans, that in that itself it points to how guilty they are for 911. They are not trying tofind those who they pointed the finger at, and I wonder if BinLauden is in some fancy hotel drinking margarites with our tax money!

If it continues to go that way or if an evil president gets in next year, like MS. Clinton and some of theothers, then I will give up my citizenship and move to Africa, go teach something. It is out of hand and people do not care at all what their government does. The government paid over $900,000 for two washers that only cost just over a dollar (in yahoo news). It is out of control and people do not care to see it or deal with it. Without the support of my friends, family and americans, I am just one person and worhtless to the US government. I would just move out of the country. No matter how much I love it here. I will not forsake my freedoms. Many of my family served in the Navy, we love this country.
Yet there is no what if about 911, it was an inside job. I feel shame and fear of the future.

Well then I would owe a few people on here some apologies and the Government had best be ready for a major civil uprising.
