I am 15 and i home! My sister just moved out and i wish i was her. I have no freedom, i have talked to me parents about more freedom but they wont budge. I cant deal with my house anymore. I am constantly spending time at other peoples houses because i get so much relief when i am not home. I mean seriously if i have to spend more then a few hours (not including sleep) at home i go insane! Its really bugging me. I just want to skip my next three years of high school and move out. I don't even want to go back to school, all it does is cause more problems for me! Please give me ideas to help me! And saying that you've gone through the same thing isn't helpful, i need actual advice!

you say you spend a lot of time at other peoples houses so that should help not being at home so much. and when you are at home try to be as positive as possible. bite your tongue if need be and go into your room when it gets to tough for you. your a teenager so it always seems worse then it really is. school will start soon and that will also get you out of the house, join a after school activity or something that interest you that might help with your frustration all around, it can only help and get better hope this helps you a little

I think it would be rather tuff to convince you otherwise but life outside of "home" is no bed of roses, all the time. There are major responsibilities when you are out on your own.
Education is the most important thing you will do in your life. Years ahead you will look back, and if you complete at least your grade 12, you will be glad you did.
Furthermore, once you are older and finished school, then out on your own because you now have enough time to work fourty hours a week to pay rent so you have somewhere to live.. you will love going back home. Home IS where the heart is hon.
You may think it is the worst right now but a slight adjustment in attitude and you will see that you are on easy street right now. I'd be taking full advantage of the fact that all that is really expected of you is to go to school. You are not having to pay for food, cloths, rent, right? Your folks are covering the costs for you while you are getting your education. Be greatful for this opportunity at this time.
Life outside of Mom and Dads is alot rougher than one thinks. The grass Is NOT greener on the otherside, ever.
Life may not be as you would daydream about, while you are at home but it is alot less stressful than when you are on your own, working your *** off to cover the cost of living.
Enjoy the freedom from that.
Years from now, you may think back to this advice and think, yeah, she was right!
Furthermore, your folks are not going to be around forever either. Enjoy their friendship, company and support. Choose to change your mind and enjoy your surroundings for what they are worth for this time being. You have a whole life ahead of yourself. Don't move too fast. Good Luck.

If you actually had no freedom, they wouldn't be allowing you to be at other peoples' houses so often, now would they? Parents are trying to do what's best for you, and if they are asking for your help... did you ever stop to think that they might really need it? Stop being so dramatic about life and look at the situation from a different perspective.

You are 15... listen to your parents... life is tough... and if you think you would have it easier out of there...think again.... it will be terrible........ just because your sister left, doesnt mean you have no freedom........ you are only 15...... you should have rules to follow......... get your education.... graduate, then move out........ that way at least you can find a job making $5.75 an hour and have a wonderful life...........

Suck up your so called, "suffering," and deal. From what you told us, you're not going through anything bad. Your parents let you go out, so there's obviously no freedom being held from you.
