Ok so here it is - I am 19 years old and I go to a college that is like a 45 minute drive from my house. My dad usually drived me every day but (as one could imagine) it's kind of embarrassing to have your dad drive you to school when you are almost 20. Plus I hate bothering him to top it all off.

My only two options are to either:
drive - but I am basically poor
live on campus - again I am basically poor

Does anyone have any ideas as to how I ight be able to resolve my problem?

P.S. - This is a serious problem for me and not just some stupid question so serious answer only please. TY

There are some other options, but it will take some research on your part to determine their feasibility: (1) see if there are other students in the area who attend your school with whom you can ride in exchange for gas money (assuming your schedules are compatible enough to be practical) (2) check into public transportation options. Many communities offer shuttles to campuses with transfer options into surrounding areas for a small fee. Basically, you need to think creatively for viable options...they're out there, it's just incumbent on you to find them. Good luck.

Hmm, maybe you could find a small apartment and get a roomate near your college? That's what my brothers did, and they're doing fine.

Get yourself a car............ it wont be cheap or easy, but to have your Dad drive you .... come on............ how about trying to find someone to share a ride with??? still better than Dad......
