Aw Hell yeah!
It's like flying! Like superman. DON'T get static line - the free-fall is the best - ask them to deploy the 'chute at the last possible second.
You're only scared for about thirty seconds - the first 25, and the last five (when you realize the ground is still coming but you can't slow down - but you CAN - the parachute has a way to slow you down more, so don't worry). But that can all also be exciting.
Wear something with ankle support (but bring sneakers with you - different places want different things), and get Dr. Scholl's shoe inserts - air-pillows. (I'm a big guy, and I landed hard instead of letting the instructor do what he was gonna do).

I've always thought it looks awesome, for a while I was scared but then I realized lots of people have done it, it's ok. I'm totaly doing it for my 18th birthday, when I'm allowed (Or 16, whatever the legal age is here =D)

no but i heard its very fun and i hope i could experience this in my future its cool seeing clips of people jumping out of helicopters and skydiving

Well; if you call being kicked out of a plane at 5100 feet by a screaming platoon Sgt. fun then yes I suppose it was.

2nd best thing i eva did. bungy was the best only cause it felt more extreme being that close to the ground. I always said i wanted to skydive when i was 30 so thats wat my wife gave me for my pressie & it is seriously goooooooood fun. Do it, you will love it.
