How do I get photoshop off the internet? Does it cost? Is there anyway I won't pay for it?

I just want to make my pics look like scenes from storybooks and stuff like that

You can't get a free lunch here, sorry.

However, you can get a less expensive alternative.

FREE - GIMP. This is a freeware image editing program. Similar, but not as good or feature rich as Photoshop CS2/CS3.

Under $100 - Photoshop Elements 5.0. This is a consumer oriented version of the full blown Photoshop. Tools that a photographer might use most often without all the extras that a graphic designer might need. I'd guess that 99.9% of what you need to do can be done via Elements.

There are free downloads, such as Gimp (do a search), which do the sort of stuff Photoshop does.
